i am only using 1.325v for VID NB those volts are for LN2 benching bro turn it down

btw you will improve your scores a lot by tuning the HTT/RAM Ratio/RAM Timings/NB/HTlink so play around with different settings (try different ram modules also). I found nice performance around 240MHz HTT or so with corresponding settings, also set PCIe frequency in bios and also try to boot at lower HTT and clock up to what you want, that gives better peformance.

This is all fiddly and will take a couple of days to find optimum settings though

RipJawsX is OK but can not run 2000C7 and we tried PIS2400 but will not start ..i dont have any flare here but for the next weekend i think HyperX will be great
in my Data 250HTT (DDR3 multiplier at 8x )gave me a little boost in 3D11,now we need to tweak again NB link and the PCI-e frequency

tomorrow i will check more options and Sunday i will help Yoko to hit 15k

it will be very interesting once you have AMD CPU cranking subzero properly tuned, i bet there will be very little difference between the setups once you have the GPUs at the same clocks also with 6Ghz+ on CPU

i think we can have higher gpu/ram clock but not so much because the thermals are limiting ..
the diference between rooms in my home is funny
our bench room is always 5c hotter than other room,of course its only when we are running 4 Fermis first generation hahah

    Guys,

Can you please explain what the extra PCI-E power connector for above the sata ports, i did read up on it, im still unsure what it does, is it worth connecting to when you setup your rig ?

    Thanks

hey man, basically its really only needed if you run 3/4WAY GPUs to give them extra power but otherwise dont worry about it

I've done some messing around with the setup to see what it can prime at, next jump was at 4.4 which didnt pass i didnt bother trying in between the two this is good enough heheh

in case some of you were wondering why VID is set high by default, it's the turbo mode that does it, once you disable turbo you will get your real VID, in my case its 1.275

I can't tell from the pictures. Do the UD5 / UD7 share a hole pattern for heatsinks? Will Fullcover blocks be universal between the two?

You can go much higher than 18x in AOD but first you need to set very high turbo multi -> apply and then you can set up to Turbo multi for CPU.
Silly bug because it keeps low CPU multi even with Turbo disabled :/

    I still use K 10 stat dino,

don't use Pstate, use debug, set main to P0, go to right side set all to 1 then set back to current and you can jump multis up till you run out of clocks

I can make a video if you'd like showing how.

yeah i used that software of course but it would be good for AOD to have this working properly, thats all im saying

lightman my turbo is disabled in bios and with AOD i cant change the multi, i can increase the multi to 63 or something but nothing changes when applied

did some testing with high capacity ram

shoot, i found out ET6 is buggy, CPU multiplier only changes Core0 right now so my priming at 4.3 isnt stable lol, 4.2Ghz is ok from a quick test though even with 16GB

please ignore vcore readout in software, it is not correct! real voltage was 1.45v i think measured on DMM

software readout is incorrect for this board

if you set 1.475 you will get about 1.455-1.46 with very heavy load and 1.5 idle somewhere there while software will show similar idle vcore but will show 1.4-1.41 under load, something silly like that. There is about 0.05-0.06 droop but in terms of what you set in bios and what you will get in windows under heavy load you are looking at about 0.01-0.02 under set voltage from bios
