Nice to hear someone managed to fix the issue with adapters. I have the same PSU and the same issues, but no adapters to test with. In any case I'm switching the PSU for an XFX Core 750W with one 12V rail so no more rail problems.

I was just wondering if anyone really had any idea why and where the 12 V OCP kicks in? 18A is a lot of current to draw from a single 12V rail, and the GPU draws its power from 3 different rails. I don't see how it could draw that much from a single rail. The other option is that the CPU would draw 18A from its rail, but that seems an awful lot too even for a high voltage OC. And when people say downclocking doesn't help, it doesn't really leave a lot of options left. Strange.
