Mhhh, had to ask our programmer and now I know: there is a bug in the firmware of the aquaero which shuts down the poweradjust when you exceed a load of 1.5A - no matter if it is only for a few milliseconds. This bug is already fixed in the next firmware. The reason why your PA2 works for a short time when you start the aquaero is that the PA2 works on its own while the aquaero is booting. When finished it takes control over the PA2 and than the bug comes into the game and causes the output to turn off.

@ALL: seems we eventually managed to get the aquasuite ready for tomorrow

w00t, thanks for the reply and the good news on the release of the new Aquasuite.

As a programmer, would the SDK allow me to customize the display on the AE5?

If you mean the information pages inside the device: no.

    I got mine from Sidewinder.

    @Shoggy
I'm interested in this SDK, is there any documentation? Is the current SDK applicable to the AE5 series or will an updated SDK be released?

"you exceed a load of 1.5A " what was the value changed to? Considering the Ultra version peaks at 48W = 4A, was it increased as such?

@gmat: no, we expect them back from powder coating within the next week.

@Paradoxxx: The SDK is something that will be available MUCH later because at first we have to get the aquasuite 2012 completely finished which will take a lot of time. The current SDK only works with other USB products from us.
Just ignore the 1.5A thing since it is a bug, I only mentioned that limit so you can understand why it stops working.

Excellent news mate. Sorry - I'm a bit impatient that way, but completely understand you would want to release software properly tested with the bugs fixed.

Been promoting this product on all the forums in the UK - their flying off the shelves here lol.

Just waiting on my keyboard arriving now

Thanks Shoggy, I noticed the same problem when I had assembled most of my system last night. When will the firmware fix be available for AE5 1.5A PA2 problem?
As it is I cannot run my system till it's fixed!

Another thing... I have water cooling running on the AE5 now and the Temp is still climbing to 85c with 1.5A @ 11.5v running 6 fans on single channel. This trips overload protection.. Is there still some bugs in the temperature firmware? The water block is cool to touch compared to when I had no waterflow and when it was to hot to touch. Its as if the water cooling has done nothing to reduce temps in sensors but the block is definitely at water temp?

Ive rechecked the thermal pads and mounting and its as tight as i dare without stripping the plastic screws... Any advice?

Argghhh! Still having the same problem with my PA2.

I see CPU Temperature as a Sensor (with a value), considering that Virtual Sensors have not been implemented whats the CPU Temperature represent?

Not sure what the problem there is, but you guys do realize that there are NO special drivers or anything for this, right? Its just a plain USB HID device, so its all core windows stuff.
