CA users are being penalized by the commies on the Public Utilities Commission. May 1st, PG&E switched to summer ( arbitrary) rates. What does that mean? On winter rates, I was able to burn 1500 KWH nooo problem. With the new baseline, @970 KWH, I'm already in the 4th tier and my bill is already about $50 more than last month. If I continued to run @ SCW pace, my power bill would be in the $1200. range.

I'll be almost completely shut down for the rest of the month. I'm sure other CA crunchers are feeling my pain.

I learned last year with $500/month power bills. I'm down to just my Sandy at home full time. Mild over clock.

    ............

Now I feel even worse about complaining about a $110 power bill last month!

Funny, I thought screwing the customers was a classic capitalist tactic. Commies normally try to screw everybody over equally. My bill is around a grand a quarter ($330AUD a month), just to make a passing attempt at being on topic.
