    SOD & Linux 2500K 5850s i7 920 benching binge gold cups

Invited one of my US XS Hwbot teammates Slaveondope over this weekend to bench his hardware and get the most points for him as we could and have fun with some LN2.

Slaveondope tuned in his Asus Rampage II GENE Micro ATX board earlier for hours on end trying every little skew and clock available to be able to get high bclk out of it.

All of the hard work paid off and we were able to get the 920 up to 5.32ghz for Wprime1024M on LN2 and get the WR for the i7 920 in less than 30min from the first pour of LN2 on the system.

The little Micro ATX Rampage II Gene after being set up properly ran Wprime without any stability issues with the 920 and turned out to be a great board for LN2. But let's let the results speak for themselves.

    Hardware used:
    2600K 5.5g
    2500K 5.8g
    2x 5850s
    i7 920 D0
    G.Skill Ripjaws X 2133 8-9-8 and A-Data 2000x
P67A-UD7-B3, P67A-UD3P-B3, and Rampage Gene II Micro ATX X58
    Corsair 1200AX and Antec TPQ-1200
    Gray Mole SS unit
    Kingpin Gemni
    40L LN2
    and 24hrs of benching

It was very nice of LinuxFan to have me over and a joy to bench with.
He knew his SB's and handled them as needed. I thrashed the 920 which I guess concerned him cause he kept cold bugging it

No kidding bought open box a year ago, run that 920 on it full load 24/7 @4-4.5ghz depending on the season for WCG and it does this with LN2 still

    Thanks everyone and especially LinuxFan

Pushing well and pushing hard. That's an impressive i7 920 score. Running Wprime at those volts is quite a tall order for an mATX board.
Sometimes a good slap in the face is all you need

    Bios my arss.....
I can fix this problem with a hardware mod....

Well done! You guys have access to an RIIIE or something similar to find out that little chip's true BCLK potential?

    R3E next for sure!
By the way this monster 920 may not be maxed out.
No 1024M stability issues whatsoever, we didn't push 1024M at higher bclk yet.
