Guys, need some help. Just got my MIVE B3 replacement and am overclocking my 2600k on it. However, whenever I overclock 3 CPU cores disapear. This happened on 1101 bios so I flashed to 1485 - same thing. Never had this problem with this CPU on my old B2 MIVE... is there something im missing in these newer bioses?

MikeMk, did you check for pin damage on the new mainboard before isntalling the CPU? That would be my first thought as to the cause. I assume you have checked to make sure the BIOS option to allow all cores stays correctly set when you make the settings changes to overclock.

Yeah, it's set on all cores. I havnt checked the socket for bent pins, but wots strange is that all cores work fine at stock. Btw, sine my last post I've also noticed the over-clock doesn't apply. With multi at x40 in bios, in windows it only shows x16 and doesn't increase under load.

I have my OCZ vertex 3 SSD connected to the red 6 GB sata port but what sata driver should I download to use the port?

To install Windows you don't need any drivers. In the BIOS set hot-plugging to enabled for the port the Vertex3 is connected to. Once in Windows you can install the Intel AHCI drivers. I use the 10.​1.​0.​1008 drivers without issue.

but i have a new BIG problem !

i can t be stable ! error 0X000000101 > more Vcore

i put 1.46V and test . . . bug , i test 1.50Vcore and bug ! lcc 75% and lcc 100%

occt is same

i don t change my setup in bios and now i can t launch linX or other program for cpu test now !

what is the problem ?

i install seven pack 1 this morning . . . is this ?
