very strange chip just tested, well tested 3 (x2 x52 chips and this one)
This one idles very cold sensors borked? Ambient is 19c and using an air cooler.

Best I got out of my x54 2500K..using Corsair H60. vCore was 1.575 in BIOS with LLC enabled, didn't check while it ran but should be close, ~ 1.56v under load perhaps...

okay guys you got me into this, f(L)uck you for doing that, 32m low clock kills your time like nothing else, except maybe 3dmark01 and f(L)uck you dino for making me do that to haha

playing with a couple boards, i really <3 the asus m4e, all marketing aside, thats a smooth board to use, it is so super easy to put in settings and hit a fast score, amazing...

but i think the p67a-ud4 is a TOUCH faster.. i am about half a second off on both the 8gb and 4gb targets..

and yes okay, i DID wait for a few seconds until it went to 4999.x for my screenshot, just cos it looks FASTER that way, i was thinking of making my background red too, to be even FASSTER!

oh i forgot to mention, waza is so weird on this platform,

i have been increasing my waza sleeps because the waza is completing so much faster than p67, she same thing you would do if your running waza at full ln2 frequency,

but the waza file size seems to have a big impact,

some waza i do i get a very fast start, like first 4-5 loops, then fall off in bonus rounds, and some other waza are the opposite,

need to put some more time into that and work that one...

you should not taken so much time in tweaking your score and and bs like waza then in pimpin your screen.....

yes maybe 3-4 seconds but different between a good waza and a bad was at least 1 second here... and even using the same settings i cant do it consistantly

this weekend i played a bit with my new config...still have to learn alot, especially on ram and s.o. tweaking....
Seems that my config doesn't like hypers so much, lots of problems with the highest ram multiplier...

2500k batch L046B079T cooled by noctua nh-d14

2x2 dom gt hypers




now i'm managing to put the cpu under cold and see what happens..hope to get more mhz out of it

Don't know of any 3D or 2D bench other than the PCMark stuff out of the Hwbot benches that really benefits from SSD drives over 7200RPM drives.

Cause I get about the same results with my normal OS (w7) with a SSD tweaked afterworths and a tweaked XP with a HDD.

I fired up my SB as well I'm using cheap Kingston HyperX H2O 2133MHz 9-11-9-27 stuff, but the efficiency is there if you properly tune OS, waza and sub-timings. RAMs @ 7-10-7-27-72 12-4-4-4, I can not possibly push more these subs. Next tryout will be with 8GB and then Hypers
