hmm, maybe. but wouldn't we hear more widespread issues with using 1.65v? Asus/Corsair say "we've experienced no problems with up to 1.65v". and I would imagine cas7 2133MHz would push the IMC much harder. although thats with 4GB, I'm running 8GB, so but maybe you're right. I'll stick to 2T for now.

though on my most recent chip, I ran 1600MHz/1.65v/2T just to find max clock and still saw degredation. so, I dunno.

thanks for your input though, it's something to think about at least.

I know I have to re-seat my HS, somethings rotten with 3 cores being that hot.. So far this has been the easiest platform to overclock Ive ever had.. Currently have all power saving options on in the BIOS all the C enhanced states enabled but spread spectrum is disabled.. I havent gone for a 10hr PrimeBlend run yet but I will as soon as it cools down here in So.Cal and I re-seat my HS..

Watching this thing go from 1.6Ghz@1.05 volts to 4.7Ghz@1.368 in a split second and be completely stable in LinX AVX enabled, is really a thing to behold.. 1.368 volts is not that high for 4.7Ghz, Im very impressed with the board and CPU except for the cold boot issues with the P8P67 PRO.. Ive been looking at fixes for that and seems a CmOs reset or the enable the “Power on by PCIe.” function might fix it.. Hope hope..

Gaming is just absolutely sick with this rig, as well as encoding..

I`ve no stability with Deluxe and Corsair Dominator GT CMG4GX3M2A2000C8 v2.1(Elpida Hyper)
When i set 2133 8-8-8-30 1T or 9-9-9-30 1T and LinX system hangs with turning if all USB devices or just reboot witout BSOD
    VCore - 1.416V
    VCCSA - tried 0.95 till 1.1
    VCCIO - tried 1.0 till 1.2
    VMEM - tried from 1.6 till 1.7
    VPLL - from 1.7 till 1.9
in another systems this memory could do 2300 8-8-8-30-1T at 1.65V without problems
    Any solutions?

only solution is a hyper friendly bios... hypers work okay on the M4E, not on the pro, Dlx nor Sabretooth

and you need good hypers, I have a stick that can't do 2133 CL7-7-7-21, not even at 1.8Vdimm... other two sticks ( bought a triple channel kit) does the same clocks rocksteady at 1.7Vdimm...

I would run them daily at 1866CL7, you can do that with very low volts...

Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Keep in mind that the officially supported ram speed for Sandy Bridge is 1333mhz, 1.5V. Anything faster and with higher voltage is considered overclocking the imc. And as we all know, oc results vary from chip to chip. Just because the memory multiplier on K chips is unlocked and can go up to 2133mhz doesn't mean it will do this. Just like how the cpu multi can go to x57, not all chip can do it.

Whai bios version yoy use in your M4E?
if it is posible, please, tell me all your secondary and third timings!

nothing to do with the non hyper compatibility sir... it's pure bios related... I can do it all with the ES on all ASUS boards, if I plug in the retail CPU it only works on the M4E and UD5/7, which clearly indicates it's microcode = bios...

Hey all. I got my Deluxe today and I'm having an insanely hard time with the SLI, as it appears many others are. It originally didn't work on the first format, and didn't work on the second format either. I kept getting the VGA LED lit up, and after tearing it apart and checking each card with each slot, it's still not working. The odd thing is with both cards in and powered, it will only use the middle card, not the one closest to the CPU. Any tips/tricks?

    HI,

To go from 1600MHz to 1866MHz with my mem (8GB Vengeance on P8P67 Pro) I just have to increase Vdimm and VCCsa, right?
It dont work so maybe my memory dont handle that speed!? The system dont boot at all, just try to start and then shut down..try to start, shut down and so on.....
Maybe its better to lower timings instead??

    Thanks in advance

Yeh but instead of increase freq. I stay on 1600MHz and try lower timings from 9-9-9-24

apparently there is another "revision" coming up.
The screen shot is the rev 3.1 bios cross flashed to the "rev 3.0"

as far as i can tell, the usb3.0 controller got changed (as my usb3.0 ports no longer work.)

THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE WITH A "3.0" BOARD YOU WILL LOSE YOUR USB 3.0

The warning is sound. Anyone flashing the wrong BIOS asking for an RMA down the road won't be accommodated. Do so at your own risk.

This have most likely been answered already in this thread but 49 was a little to much to go though.

How do I set a max vcore?
When running with the auto stuff, it runs nicely at 1.25v or so, but once it gets under load vcore raises to 1.6 which is a bit to high for my liking (at 48 multiplier).
I can lower it manually with the asus tool, and it seems to run ok at 1.43 under load, so what bios setting do change to limit vcore to 1.43 when it autoincreases under load?

Hey guys I plan on either getting the Evo or the Deluxe so are the extra phases worth it for a water cooled build?
