    I forgot to save my settings when I updated so had to remember everything I had put into bios haha

    I think 4.8 is good enough.. It's 1.4ghz past stock :O

    My base setup for highest multi test

    Its probly universal on most any hardware combo, mine are UD7, corsair A50 push/pull

    UD7 bios
    1.54Vcore / LLC 10 / PLL enabled / 2 cores / HT off
    CPU temp. warning set @ 80C



    54X is the max it can boot to windows (XP32)
    55X can but freeez after few seconds, 56X stop @ windows bars
    Based on this, its worth the time to put SS cooling on it. With the same bios settings this cpu maxed @ 5.69Ghz

    2600K Batch# L045B021 5.0GHz = 1.47v set in bios 100% stable

    Benching for max clocks is done with 2 cores (2500k) or HT off 2 or 4 cores (2600k).

    UD7 allows me to do core0 at x54 and core1 at x53

    Is there a 2500/2600K that cant do 4.5Ghz, it seems that everyone is hitting 4.5Ghz as a minimum from what I've seen jumping around the previous pages.

    I never had one that could not hit 5ghz all of them have booted 50x and higher. . .
