This is more of a question for the team but I have a Asus Max 3 and a 655k, looking at the point breakdown on HWbot it looks pretty pointless for 2D benches. Is it worth keeping it out for 3D benching if I have a 980x on the way. If not its going in the HTPC.

It's only good for 05 3d wise, and a little behind the times on that now also.

You be the judge. that was hardly pushed or tuned, screwing off in a hotel room on older drivers....no tweaks, It's more dependant on what your hardware is capable of, my gulfy is capable of more in this case. With more uncore, higher ram and tweaks + card on ln2 score will improve considerably.

LN2 on the GPU doesn't help much...
I didn't get a good score with a 580 yet as you see... I think I could manage 52k but after that I'm pretty limited by my 5.600ghz CPU...
Zen's 5.8ghz SB compared to your 980x full blast would be interesting

i is no good at 3d. wouldnt be that interesting tbh, chew would win hands down. even if we were to bench the same exact rig under the same condidtions, i cant compete with the amount of experience and expertise.

Nah 5.8 would catch my gulfy, I'd lay money on that.

There is only so much you can do after that your at the mercy of shear clocks.

To explain further here's a score breakdown.....

Your score steve.

GT1 181.5 mostly system based performance
GT2 135.2 GPU + driver + clocks + LOD
GT3 374.1 <----gpu clock + LOD

My score on gulfy No lod no tweaks lesser card lesser clocks makes GT2 + 3 pointless to compare so

GT1 187.1 without maxxed out settings.

That about sums it up for me, it's really all about understanding score breakdown.

Then I need to account for the fact that of the 2 boards worth benching I have both have nf200 latency hits which most people forget to take into consideration when comparing effec

Yep had 30min so decided to do a session and knock out a quick run... ran GPU up with the max volts I have in Inspector(1.21v) and did three runs last one pushed temps down to -160oC no problems. After that run I checked and the GPU runs down to -180oC, almost CB free.
Gotta get Afterburner working so I can add a little more voltage and I think 1200 core will be easy with this card.

BTW guys just tested Heaven with LN2 and got a horrible score, but on air now and finally found my performance issue. Will do LN2 again in an hour or so.
Just got X1752 with 943/1149mhz and 2600K@stock

No I meant it seriously, not directed at anyone in particular.

It's not hard to jack a multi and voltage......Quite frankly except for like 2 benches thats 95% of a result on sandy.

Nf200 has a latency hit bottom line, it always cost something performance wise with single card.

I could fix it but not worth it......I paid 1300 ( cheap ) becasue it needed a front frame welded in......it appears it needs the same frame + everything else now.....cost would be more than i paid for car including air bags, dashboard, and windshield..........

Sucks as that was my transportation to work, can't get to work now and in my line of business a bus is out of question.......I drive truck on short notice and usually have to be there with no heads up in 10min to drive a truck.........

Hard to buy a new car when you can't work......

Had poor luck today myself. Employer refused to put me on the books for the last two months since I started.
Owner started shorting my pay only giving me 40 hours pay when Id work near 50 some weeks.
So I told him I would be needing to take a day off mid week in order to stay at 40 hours and get paid for my work.
Seems like a fair concept right?

Fired and out of a job again. I'll have some time to bench but only the stuff I have already and will likely need to sell off soon.

Feeling like a little street justice. Someone caved in the front nose of my car so I'm feeling like caving in there face, nice thing is word on streets travel fast, kids these days brag when they do , not like the oldschool guys who if they did no one would ever know.
