I noticed eon was up and running again using the BOINC client and i have started running it.
I don't know why i like this project, but i do. maybe because it is hosted by the University of Texas and i live in Texas.

I remember putting up my 3 machines at the time and killing the #1 guys numbers.

I put a couple systems on it to check it out and see how it goes. Doing 7 cores for the time being. Sure seems low on the points though.... ???
yea but each calculation on the CPU takes 2-3minutes. by comparison a HFC4C may be 400 pts for 6 hours of work

The whole work units do not appear to be running that fast on my systems. Using some q6600's. But will keep going at it and see how they go. Took some stuff off the distributed.net stuff and put it on eon and collatz.
i have a q9550 and the eon2 tasks ive gotten take anywhere from 2 to like 13 minutes

the project send out different kinds of work units.
They range anywhere from 1 to 10 minutes for me.
a few days ago they were sending out WU that took 3+ Hrs, but you got a lot of points for them.

No work to send........... Under eon1 they often ended up with no work on weekends. An unfortunate turn of events. :-(

Paladin to the Boinc EON. I saw this thread a week ago and started running it again.
It's certainly easier than it was in the non-BOINC version where you had to run 10+ instances to get a full load.

what ever they did, you have to reset the project and it will start working correctly again.
I have only tested it for 10 minutes or so, but all WU have been valid.
