    scythe infinity on Sandy brigde

    Upgrading to a 2500K setup. Will My old Scythe Infinity fit ?
    Asrock P67 Extreme 4 (B3)
    2500K@4600mhz (Scythe Infinity)
    2x4GB DDR-3 Corsair 1333 mhz
    Gainward GTX 570 Phantom @900/2250
    Enermax EG701AX

    If you could mount it on LGA 1156 then it would fit.

    I guess not because Scythe Infinity is way too old and doesn't support LGA 1156 right out of box.

    Asrock p67 mobos still have 775 holes, so your scythe infinity will still fit.
