He probably took off points for the card dying. It's a lot harder to win a decathlon if you drop dead during one of the events.

Did the card broke @ stock? Or did he overvolt it like hell, even after he got a very good OC (815MHz) @ 1.0v?

I think you need to read that review once again, more carefully and apply a bit of logic too (to the "all resolutions" part).

He did the test, on his conditions, at the resolutions he chose. This was the final result. End of story.
