Does anyone know when the Murdermod US site will be back up and running? I did a search on google and clicked the link only to find an update page posted there. Would love to order from them as the shipping will be mega reduced over shipping from Europe, I'm in Canada.

The MDPC-X shipping prices were significantly reduced this year, see here for the updated prices: http://en.mdpc-x.com/low-internation...pping-cost.htm

    as for this

after popping off the plug and removing it from the wires like so

can I just sleeve over the whole wire or should i wrap that area with black electrical tape, I don't need the extra plugs as I only use 1-2 plugs and sometimes those connectors come with 4 plugs.

Suddenly, Asus Sabertooth boards become viable for MDPC builds...

Just checked the website and saw combat green. Huge influx of new colors, this is pretty awesome!

I'd suggest putting some very small heatshrink or tape over each of the "cuts" first, just to be safe.

I'd feed a small size heatshrink piece down over the cuts in the insulation and shrink it on like you would with any splicing or repair job.

Hey Martin. Is that middle picture the color-x and the bottom picture regular red.

I'm trying to see what black/red and black/color-x look like. If anyone else has black/red or black/color-x pics please through some up, preferably both of them in one pic for a direct comparison.

    Thanks all.

im in love with some of the new colors, but i dont know how thick the SATA sleeves are,

i plan to do about 4 wires per sleeve to keep the total thickness down while still having flexibility (probably 3 wide for PCIe)

are there any photos of people using the sata wires for multi wire sleeves?

i'd say stick to 3 per sleeving, 4 was too thick for me, worked out best with 3..

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

i ended up buying some really cheap sleeving form mcmaster thats 1/8", to see how well that works, and then when its time to do the real thing i might fork out the cash for some mxpc color-x

would be nice if they listed actual ID range on their sleeving so people who dont plan on using just one wire can tell how it will work out compared to the rest of the worlds options.

I did you can fit 4 np. Just did it last week. Just single shrink the ends put sleeve to end of single shrink and shrink the works. The single shrink provides a base to prevent slippage.

I fubar'ed mine up between using most of my single shrink on custom cables and my carpal tunnel doing it without single shrinking first means they start pulling off the end.

thats kinda confusing without a picture

you want sleeve used on every wire individually, then sleeve them in groups again?

Here its one of my failures but I destroyed them all in a fit of rage after finding out I miss measured my cable length. And wasted most of my single shrink.

Each wire should be heatshrinked individually then Sata sleeve and sata heatshrink.

Otherwise the pull off the ends as shown below.

You can check my build for some bad photos of my results , personally the more I look at it the more I don't like it .
