Pretty much any DDC will work with this. A lot of models have mounting feet on the base you'll have to remove before you can install them.

The only DDC's I know of without the feet are the Swiftech MCP-35X and the Koolance PMP-400.

You'll just need to saw and sand the feet off, not a big deal if you have the tools.

Edit: That's for the DDC model above. For the D5 model, any D5 pump should work.

I'm pretty sure all of the newer 355s also come like this

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

I don't think there's any reason you couldn't. It might take a little longer to bleed, but both inlets/outlets within the reservoir would be at the bottom beneath the coolant, and the pumps would still be in their original horizontal orientation.

Hmm, face up? Interesting idea (trying to imagine how this restop would look on top or side of case)

Our serial connector is now available for this product. There's a bonus acrylic piece included for the lower reservoir that will improve flow performance further. These are likely to run out of stock shortly, but we'll have more by next Monday.

That is way better than the 12" of tubing connector I used for serial testing.

Our resellers in Australia should have inventory in about 1-2 weeks. Other resellers in the US who currently offer USPS shipping should have inventory next week. Our first shipment was pretty small, so I don't think we'll have much stock out there until at least Mar. 18-25th.

Can't wait till this becomes available at a US Retailer, Question.

I am considering buying a (PMP-450S) to run in serial with my existing Swiftech MCP655-B. I am toying with the idea of having the 450S as the pump pushing water OUT of the res while the 655B sucks water into the res.

With reference to the picture Tim posted with the serial loop adapter, the 450S would be P2 and the 655B will be P1.

Question... will mixing the pumps be an issue?

I suppose I'll need to buy a Koolance (CTR-SPD24) 24V Pump Controller to maximize the output of the 450S?

As long as the pumps have a similar output, they should be fine. You might have to throttle one or the other until they sync enough to bleed the lines.

Thanks for the feedback, it seems my best option is to buy another pump that matching my existing pump.

Do you mean RP-450X2? There is not a way to connect that for series. The front reservoir is shared and liquid would recirculate into the front tank if the rear nozzle ports were connected.

I couldn't wait for a US Retailer to stock the serial connector, I ordered it from Koolance and a second pump (from SW).

Considering my "return" trickles, I'm hoping to see some improvement with my temps.

    Tim,

I just recieved the res and the adapter its nice and solid. I was following these instructions and I noticed when installing the acrylic piece in the bottom half this would only allow the system to pull water from the top chamber correct? Is there anyway to have this work in the reverse order? my concern is the water level falling too low and only having the top return available for water return.
