Where did you get your C batch 2600K from?

Guys, I have searched high and low for a C batch 2600K, no stores in Australia (that will reply to me) have them, same goes for overseas stores, so if you have one then where did you source it? Of the stores that did reply a fair few ship from warehouses or even multiple warehouses so they cant even tell me what batches they are sending, this makes things difficult, but it would still be interesting to see where you got one (if you were lucky enough).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

(Mods: if this is the wrong section etc please move it)

    Good question.

I didn't bother asking because I just accepted that you had to be resident in the US to be able to have access to Newegg or Microcenter to pick and choose your batch. Here, in the UK, I just accepted that you got what you got.
I know, I've got a "reasonable" L042B076 batch but it would be good to be able to try another, without having to buy and sell (at a loss) every "pot luck" item that came my way.

    Hopeless on E-Bay anyway

    PS
I tried a few German sites who were reported to have "C" batches but didn't get very far.
    Sig always changing .

I emailed a bunch of german stores and none would ship to me, OCUK does but they couldnt tell me what batch I may get. Will Fry's tell me a batch? I guess I better email them. I tried every 2600K I could find on ebay too.

Tank guys used to state batches. I emailed them awhile back as I was after a week 45-49 i7 asking about shipping to us over here in our apparent convict backwater and received no reply. YMMV though.

Most of Micro Center here in US have C batches on their last inventory. They sell it like hot cakes and probly soon will be replenished with new batch.

Imo every 2600K's batch have both good and dud ones..equally. Its pure luck or do quantities and widen the odds finding >57X ones

I picked up a 2600K from Microcenter St. Davids/Philadelphia this past Saturday and it was a "B" batch. Haven't even opened the box as I don't have a board, waiting for Maximus IV Extreme to become available.

Fry's won't tell you batch #s, I was just trying to indicate that if a "big box" type chain is getting them in Jan. then other places wouldn't be far behind.

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

Well good luck mate, seems like a bit of a crap shoot when it comes to batches and sandy's anyway. None really OC high enough to call any of them gem batches IMO, the one you have seems good for 24/7 duties but looks like you are after a bencher.
