    Oh yeah.... GIGABYTE X58A-OC

Quick bench (literally an hour) with the new GIGABYTE X58A-OC....

No CB with triple channel with vtt lower then 1.45

Chip really doesn't like vtt higher.. raises cb.

    Stay tuned,

    step

Can anyone tell me how the X16 slots 1 and 3 behave electrically if they are combined with X1 cards in slots 2 and 4? Do they still run at X16? I asked this in the other thread but no answer.

    Hi mate

If you have all 4x slots populated the bandwidth will drop down to 8x on all slots OK no matter that slots 2 and 4 will only use 1x.

If you have say SLOT1 with a GPU and you plug in a raid card and sound card say in slot3 and 4 you will still get full 16x bandwidth in slot1 for the GPU, it will not drop to 8x

I'm wondering how different this board is compared to other (R3E/UD9/Class). Is there any progress in CB/CBB?

Nice one, rocking clocks there !!!
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

32m would be pretty sick at these clocks.. I'm planning on 3d though.. and another round of some more efficient short 2D..

Need to pick up some more LN2 though..

The board is a dream to work with... OC Touch with multi and bclk, make it pretty easy to find max clocks...

    Stay tuned...
