    No problem

When Intel uses the word "supply" in those documents they almost always are referring to the specified voltage required for that section of the processor to operate. There is nothing for me/us to take up with them.

yup I saw that on the pic of the OC board, same fan plugs and i am guessing same temp monitors, i think its a GREAT step becuase the general population looks for that in a motherboard, even tho its not a deal breaker for OCers (i know its not for me) but it is nice to plug a few fans in and have them be controlled by the board. LOL so I have fiber optic internet(yea fiber-optic through copper, they dug up my neighborhood LOL) from Verizon FIOS, i pay for the lowest package, 3mb/s up and 15mb/s down, bigfoot NIC got my speeds right, but the stupid router/modem combo verizon gave me only supports 100mb/s or 10mb/s LOL so i am digging for an older router with 1000mb/s LOL.

Anyways I am loving SLI on this thing, so easy, and I can actually remove the lower GPU for another system when needed. I like the OC button, i am doing something and i think hey i feel cool when i press the button.

I got 4 x 2gb RAM mixed working in hybrid tri-channel, where three sticks are in tri-channel and the last is interleaved. CPU can OC just as it did on my UD5, i like the LEDs in the IOH HS, its sick.

    BTW i love the audio.

OC board will have 7 fan headers which can all be individually controlled

Oh man, this is killer... I just got my Classy 3 way and an EK block for it, and I already want the Assassin. That price is pretty damn steep, but I love the refresher of a color scheme (it does indeed remind me of DFI boards) as well as the Bigfoot chip.

    Great review there as well.

If you could do some tests in game Sin, such as load up Bad Company 2 on both your UD5 and the Assassin and compare ping times and maybe some loading times, idk some real world "gaming" bench marks that don't have anything to do with the GPU.

Really looking forward to see how the rest of this boards capabilities play out (no pun intended). Interestingly green is one of my least favorite colors, so it says a lot that I want this board with green tubing for my loop Now to raise ~$650 by selling old parts..hmm

    I'm not sure

Now that I think of it, what I just pictured doing was using the games built in Ping when you look at your score

Didn't give it much consideration haha, just something I was very interested in because smooth game-play is a must. Obviously my computer can handle it, because I built it to do so, it's just up to the connection now which is a shame.

Yea from what i have read is that the killer NIC does actually worth, its just many people didn't like paying a high price for it. Here we see the integration fo the killer nic with a very high quality PHY level device that can actually carry out the processes, its a nice addition. I will do a performance review and look over PING reported by the bigfoot program, which is actually VERy cool lol.

FiOS sucks that way - make sure they wired you with a cat5e cable going from your ONT to your router area... the coax connection sucks. I know, I'm running on it

You can run your own router for internet if you have the cat5e set up, but if you also have FiOS TV, you'll need to piggyback your FiOS router onto the main router (and the coax connection), as it controls the guide/on demand/etc on the TV. Crappy design? Yes. Slow connection? Nope

I also loved your review. I've used up at least 3 tissues since I opened the article, I've been salivating so much

I hope they come out with a Sandy Bridge equivalent to this... it would be an incredible thing to have for a build I have coming up in May.

I want to correct your grammar... but I want to correct EVERYONE's grammar, so no worries. Excellent write-up.

EDIT: Here's an extremely in-depth, easy-to-understand write-up of the ways that you can configure the FiOS router. This helped me set ours up properly. http://www.dslreports.com/faq/verizo...tworking#16077

They have a standalone card? I really love the color scheme of this board, and the fact that the bigfoot nic is onboard as well as the audio and everything else also uses high quality stuff...but I don't think I will be able to recoup enough money from my Classy and EK block to afford it. I may just have to add the Bigfoot card and a nice sound card on my own, then it should be near the same. Except color scheme

Thanks man, i will take a look at that, and yea I have their TV service too, i like all 900 so channels, but its expensive so i buy the lowest package lol. I don't have a network at my house so there is no use in using another router.

but their higher-tier internet is nuts! We have the 35/35 package and I'm convinced I couldn't live without it now. It makes a throttled university connection look wimpy.

my god what a ugly motherboard, couldnt they just call it "pro series" and add normal black heatsinks? whats wrong with f'ing people these days?

nice features though, shame that nothing short of a cremation to fix that look.

    Cool

Did is the Gigabyte has confirmed that it intends to introduce full UEFI implementations (friendly graphical interface with 1024x768 resolution, support mouse, more languages - Asus efi bios currently support 6 languages ,Msi efi bios support 15 languages and other efi features )) to their bios the socket 1155, AM3 + and future sockets ??? because for now uses it hybrid efi bios.
    http://gigabytedaily.blogspot.com/20...37625918667235
    quotation from page http://www.gigabyte.com/products/pro...px?pid=3761#ov
DualBIOS™ 3TB+ HDD Support (Hybrid EFI Technology)
Hybrid EFI Technology combines the benefits of GIGABYTE's mature BIOS platform including stability and compatibility with 3rd party products with 3TB+ HDD support from EFI technology, allowing GIGABYTE to offer the best of both worlds through a quick and easy BIOS update using GIGABYTE's @BIOS utility that is freely available from the GIGABYTE website.
one could surely do with the Bios would be chip version of the classic elements of efi bios and full efi bios with support for mouse-friendly graphical user interface, support for multiple languages.
Did Gigabyte hybrid efi bios, running in 32-bit or 64 bit mode and is immediately available to boot the system, all memory. If your motherboard bios P67 B3 operates in 16 bit mode and is available for the latter only 1 MB of memory??
