...And spotteth twice they the camels before the third hour, and so, the Midianites went forth to Ram Gilead in Kadesh Bilgemath, by Shor Ethra Regalion, to the house of Gash-Bil-Bethuel-Bazda, he who brought the butter dish to Balshazar and the tent peg to the house of Rashomon, and there slew they the goats, yea, and placed they the bits in little pots. Here endeth the lesson.
Welcome to Xtreme.
Mmmm well because it's the best I've ever used.. mind you, the best I've used I'm gonna say the Epox 8k3a+. Although the Abit KX7-333R is better when modded.

Gigabyte M55S3.
Basicly the stripped non-sli version of the Nforce 5 series chipset. The 590 compared to the 550 is alot, but not so much different. I reached up to 400 mhz HTT with it, downclocking the multiplier and getting cranked speeds with memory.
The board allows only up to 1.55v, but with a vmod it should be possible up to 2.15V (Basicly you put in the bios 1.3V and the result will be 1.6).
Further, its running for almost 2.5 years stable here. Only upgraded the Cpu once (from x2 3800+ to x2 5000+)
I reached the hardest clocks with a AMD LE 1640 / 2.6GHz to 3.8GHz using Vapochill.

This board has a Barton 2400+ in it, great setup!
Epox 8RDA3+... bought it used from eBay only some years ago. I started my OC:ing with that mb. To tell you the truth, it was an cheapo Asrock microATX that I used first time to OC Athlon XP 2200+ but then the OC fever got me for good and I HAD to get an overclocking board.

I miss my soyo platnium dragon board.

The Epox 8KHA+ was the board in my first computer (first that I bought with my own money). Ahh, the memories! Sadly the caps around the cpu slowly leaked and it won't boot any more. Still got it somewhere.
