ok I'm tired of all thoose gigabyte scores - is ud3 similar in perf? Same options available as higher priced boards? if yes, I'm gonna get one asap - I always loved gb-boards for their lower priced boards which had almost the same capabilities as the bigger ones. think it is time to get back to the roots - you teased me enough, need to test it by myself

UD5 and UD7 are surely nice boards, but too expensive for the mass and "el cheapo suckers" like me Let me know about UD3R, if you say it is ready to rock, I'll get one within' the same second

Mad222 was showing his 5.83Ghz OC on facebook with a UD7 on F7e and F7f he reckons they both do it

try using non-hypers and see if it will help push a bit more

he says he was testing at -80C and went from 5.7 to 5.83 from normal to subzero cooling

Wifey bought me a belated BD present, chip is kind of a pain but it's workable, I can deal with it.

Just LSC and theme, not really concerned with score yet, futzing with imc and max limits, getting a baseline.

Golden hands were actually mine, went to microcenter, bull ted with a sales clerk about ocing for a while, slipped him a 20 spot and he let me look through like 100 chips.

I just picked a winner, part luck part based on some batch info i have been collecting.

Here's my best run from this chip. Absolutely maxed I'm afraid.
With the CPU running -40oC on the SS unit, the ram didn't want to run with the 1866 or 2133 divider so it seems I'm lacking a few seconds because of my ram speed.
If you guys can get a run with same ram speeds and CPU speed I'd be interested in seeing your efficiency.
