"V2" Koolance *Dual D-5* Bay Reservoir! (RP-452X2)

I received this Bay res yesterday and im having issue's with the directions there really bad. Other issue i have 2 pumps in the res and guess what the you cannot run the pump in series after i just paid $120 to do that. connecting the in and out with 90s fittings do not work because the in and out are so close together im not happy with this product at the time

The instructions illustrate installation of the pumps (one or two) and describe combining and separating the front reservoirs. However, it does not go into detail on parallel vs. serial loops, benefits of each, etc.

There's several ways to do this. You could come straight out and loop the tubing back (use spring wrap to avoid kinking). You could use our NZL-LXG's with a sliding CNT connecting nozzle. The easiest method was already mentioned, though:

[*]To assist with loop-backs on the rear of the product, we will be releasing some new sliding 180º connection nozzles soon.

These will be curved pipes, so less pressure drop than with traditional 90's. I'm hoping we'll have these available within the month.

You'll only need one fitting when we get our curved pipes. I'm not sure which one yet, or what the part numbers will be, but we're working to get these out ASAP.

They're our liquids, but the purple is Photoshopped from red (didn't want a Christmas theme). We've mixed our coolants before to get bright purple and orange, but we didn't have enough time to do that for launch. 99% of our demand is for R/G/B, yellow, & clear, or I think we would offer orange and purple too.

I just got this in and it is great. MUCH better than the frozen Q POS I'm replacing. BP 1/2"-3/4" compression fittings fit just fine.

This looks like the perfect product for my rig, but my main reason for WC is silent operation. How much noise from the pumps gets transferred through the frame of the res? I'm assuming I can mitigate vibrations transferred to the case by using rubber grommets or something, but not about noise coming through front of the res itself...

I'm only running 1 pump virtually silent. Not sure why you'd need 2. 1 d5 pushes CPU>2 360 rads> full MB block and 2 gpu blocks no problem.

Yeah, exactly, for the redundancy. But if you're using 1 pump to push that loop, then I assume you must be running it at or near full speed? If it's still nearly silent, then two running at a lower speed should be as good or better. Thanks!

FYI, You can also get a series setup by simply running from pump 1 to a component and back to P2.


It may not be as clean as a curve pipe setup to minimize the tubing runs, but it would work just fine.

so only the PMP-400's are able to run this dual bay res or does anyone know a listing of what pumps can be used?
