    @andressergio

Thanks!!! I just found out that the local distro ran out of stocks of the board.

I have to wait a week or two for stocks to arrive.

    What revision would you suggest?

    Thanks!

Actually the local distro called up my regualr retail store yesterday and said they have one Rev. 1.0 remaining. I didn't bother to get get it. I'm just afraid it might be an old stock.

I was informed that the distro is expecting a shipment of board from Taiwan by next week. All are Rev. 2.0.

I need some help with my memory. Right now iīm sitting on FE bios. My first problem was that i couldnīt boot in to windows with mem on 2000mhz, now i finally broke that and itīs running fine. But the problem now is that when i try to set manuall timings it just wont but, but when i set it back to auto it runs fine. Anyone know what could cause the problem?

Which bios do u think is the best?

F7G has been working well for me, although I've not really tried for anything over 1600 for RAM. I found I needed an uncomfortable amount of vtt for high ram speeds, but I guess that depends on your chip's IMC and if you're either benching, or going for stability.

Hey guys, I noticed that most of you are using the Rev. 1.0.

Im still undecided which to get. We have 2 local distributors of Gigabyte where I'm located. One distributor has the Rev 1.0 and the other distributor has no stocks of any, but I was informed that the Rev. 2.0 will be arriving by the 20th of this month.

Should I get the Rev. 1.0 or just be patient and wait till the Rev. 2.0 be available?

    Cheers!

If you remember my post regarding 4600MHz LinX stable on air a few pages back, I got this in a case of despair by undervolting CPU PLL to 1.4v and QPI PLL to 1.0v.

Now and just for fun, I undervolted almost every single voltage on this board and went for a run at 4500MHz

I guess I can try and lower them some more, this was just the first try!

i'm playing around with a rev. 2.0 board for quite a while now and so far i'm not very happy with it.
even the old dx58so is giving me better results with the W3520 plus it is a real b*tch with my 920 C0 ES and unwilling to overclock it at all.

let's see if a new BIOS can improve things.

The only bios my boad/cpu/ram like is the GOOD OC bios... Anything newer then that one requires some crazzy voltage to get stable or will never get stable.... FD was released for ud5 2.0 (Fix QPI frequency wrong in BIOS setup M.I.T. page) I doubt this will work with my settup but will try when I get home and get a chance.

Tried FD bios for ud5 2.0 and still sucks for Overclocking.... System will not boot with settings that work for 4.5ghz. So back to GOOC bios.. Ill just keep updating raid rom.

I have enough of this board and it will end up in a stock settings machine at works.
Tried BIOS versions FC, FD and FE but things are still disappointing, especially when comparing the results with the ones I can achieve with the old Smackover.
