Hey Jody i agree man, i hate scrolling sideways, thats stupid. Eva2000 would fix this and many other issues charles has in a millisecond, not sure why this hasnt been sorted out, it's annoying.

Scary efficiency and you are only warming up lol, cant wait for CAS6

i just spent two days and nights (was chatting to brian all day yesterday) to figure out why the i cant install Win2K3 server on the giga and can on Asus board i have. Brian disabled and turned off everything in bios and it worked for him lol and it did for me. It turns out it was USB Legacy and USB Storage settings in bios which are automatically enabled so once that was disabled it worked like a charm. It makes sense in hindsight, slaps myself.

i just installed 3 fresh OSes on a drive and made a backup. Now i need a proper CPU Will have a play end of this week
Thanks, kept scratching my head for 2 days, was getting stuck on 34 minutes. But I do not have any USB devices connected, lol, hence didnt change that setting. Will join this thread soon....

did a run with a better OS, it seems wazza will play less and less importance with 32M, it will be more about memory/cpu clocks etc now

looks like everybody is getting 6min 32s easy now - don't have time for benching due to business trips next 2 weeks but this makes me wanting to re-test
Loosing 2 or 3s against the best guys I am fine with that but beeing beaten by 5s+ from everybody is a shame

No luck really with subs at 2200+.

I can pull Twcl into 6 but it's a 50/50 it will pass 32m once you throw a waza in.

Trrd did not like to be touched at all.

Twr could only be pulled into 10.

    TRFC was ok for 56.

All in all it really wasn't worth it however, maybe at 2200 flat you can pull it in more but that wasn't putting me anywere near 5 gig so didn't bother for now.

    you noticed that too?:p

testing the mive vs the jigga boards is showing to be slower clock per clock in 32m. hopefully a new BIOS will help it catch up.

On another note, what did Intel do with these chips...everyone maxing out around the same frequency regardless of cooling. And they don't really respond to cold at all, what's up with that?

Yea but they will have a surprise about the huge RMA numbers. Everybody will fry their 5.2-5.3GHz Sandy Ballz to get a better one

they are about the same i would have to say...but 1 and 3 just seemed to be better for me yesterday before i insulated, so i stuck with them.

last night i thought perhaps the CPU was causing the issues, but i am back up today with no issues at all. straight to 5.5GHz at 1.50 2133 7-7-6. so i guess that is a good thing, but it means this board did not like cold memory...or it was simply this kit of memory being bytches sub-zero 7-7-6 like they were on X58.

either way, it's a bit dissapointing
