    Ahh ok, thanks for clarifying!

So wow, you can really boot with all those 1's in subtimings? Crazy, I'll have to check that out, surely something is still not right if that's doable right?

Ohh, I see, only some of your memory will do that, I gotcha now!

I need a good 2500K too, hit me up if there is any left over still up for grabs!

Maybe it's IMC related?Just a thought, tested some gskills ripjaws,i can do 7-9-6 s-pi32M stable, but 6-9-6 or 6-10-7 is a no go,instant freeze with 1.72V.And i saw plenty results of 6-9-6 at 2133 with this kit, from what i know,i know that for PSC memory TRCD is a problematic timing not CAS...Someone willing to share a thought?

another run from today from another cpu.

losing eff due to subs not wanting to play nice...sub 5m50 is possible imo.

Of course it's possible sub 5.50 with those clocks. Yes your eff is not good.
Send me one of those bad CPUs..

nice work Brian, now learn how to run 32M and you are set

i fought with the UD7 all day today and most of last night while writing an essay. went to phase at some point but it didn't help.
i can run this...below...but can't get a solid run with the 54X to go through with higher mem clocks. this chip just can't do it...or
my memory simply can't do it. might try lowering temps on the memory later this week, but they didn't like sub-zero temps at
7-7-6 on X58, so who knows. i'll blame the chip for now

sub 5.5Ghz sub 6min is definitely do-able, should be possible with the right kit, and a chip willing to run 1087MHz 7-7-6...might need
53X and 1100MHz 7-7-6 unless a few tenths can be had with better OS/wazza. i'm looking at you cheapseats...show us how its done
i don't quote in my signature, but best WR ever...

wow guys you two have brilliant chips! Keep up the great work!!

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

dudes you wanna see brilliant chips?!!! Dumo just called me tonight and gave me the low down.
    check this out:

    http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...5&postcount=89

he has no waza tweaks. ram is slacked. board is capped under 100. he's getting a ud7 and gonna bench again on the single stage. he's been through 15 cpus and just when he was about to give up he scored this baby from microcenter this weekend. it has same code as his other chips and just got extremely lucky.

keep your eyes on dumo. he's got the best chip ive seen. If you guys dont know him he is a new yorker and it surprised me that he got a sandy because this is the last guy you would expect with a sandy. he doesnt even have a temp probe because he has been strictly amd for the last couple of years. completely skipped clarksdale etc. and all of a sudden hes been through 15 sb chips. expect the unexpected. this guy has the golden sandy bridge.

when the hell is Charles going to fix vBulletin...having to scroll sideways to read a thread is getting tiring...
it shouldn't be stretching because a post at the top of the page has a large image.

i know, i know, off topic here...but this is the only thread i am reading currently

too keep it on topic, how is this...time to insulate and run this shyt at 6-7-6...

oh, and notice the timings Aida is showing? Trrd at 4...yeah, set to 1 in the BIOS. it won't let that block
get any tighter there captain dinos...wanna hook us up

@dinos22: have you tried using the Extreme setting in the memory for the UD7? Was trying it last night and its giving me a lower score in SuperPI. Was thinking that was something like extreme profile? TIA...

Edit: what version of AIDA64 you guys using???

shouldnt make much difference Turbo to extreme but if it is slower you are running unstable due to some timings set too tight with extreme preset

Hey Jody i agree man, i hate scrolling sideways, thats stupid. Eva2000 would fix this and many other issues charles has in a millisecond, not sure why this hasnt been sorted out, it's annoying.

Scary efficiency and you are only warming up lol, cant wait for CAS6

i just spent two days and nights (was chatting to brian all day yesterday) to figure out why the i cant install Win2K3 server on the giga and can on Asus board i have. Brian disabled and turned off everything in bios and it worked for him lol and it did for me. It turns out it was USB Legacy and USB Storage settings in bios which are automatically enabled so once that was disabled it worked like a charm. It makes sense in hindsight, slaps myself.

i just installed 3 fresh OSes on a drive and made a backup. Now i need a proper CPU Will have a play end of this week

yeah, i am gonna test fate and livestream tonight ( http://www.3oh6.com/livestream/ )...why the hell not. a couple prep photos...

and the rig running behind me...

i only have LN2, so this is going to be a major PITA, but all i want to do is try and get 1067MHz to run 6-6-5
    or at least 6-7-6 @ 5GHz

    ****edit****
that was a bust. wouldn't run 6-7-6 at 1067MHz, and couldn't even get 7-7-6 to run what it was earlier today.
CPU might be calling it quits as well. either way, i won't be improving anything with this CPU, it simply can't run
memory any faster than i have already done.
