Hi,
i've a NF7-S and 1700+ which i'd like to push up to 3GHz.
I use a stock Mach I and Mushkin PC 3500 Level I,
I can reach boot at 2933 GHz.
Is there any bios which will give me 80 MHz extra? Or will clockgen go further than
the boot up screen?

I find it very hard to believe that the stock prommie would hold it a 3ghz for more than a few second at max..
"M-I-A"
if this is for a suicide shot, then yeah, clockgen is your key to 3ghz. Is it benchmark stable at 2.933ghz?

that abit board is helping you a lot too..![]()
No, i'd say benachble at 2800MHz. (2933MHz would be 100% :-) ) Didn't test yet. Spend to much time with the A7V880 crap.Originally posted by Ăhrist0ph

Mhh, JC was the first one (long time ago) I think who realiszed it so it's nothing special anymore.
My 12V and 5V line are very low, is there a
easy way to mod the true(blue)power psus?
If you get a cascade and some dry ice i bet you can hit higher

Is SuperPI influenced by ram timings?
Yes, afaik it is
Well take a guess
Obviously, memory speed is more important for SuperPi than CPU speed...

hmm.. something is seriously limiting your performance at that clock. Not only the FSBs but... something else... too. Some intense bios settings must've been disabled.
i get 35 sec with my tbred 256k@ similar total clock as yours@ 248fsb..
i get 40sec@ 2.48gz@ 225fsb with my tbred 256k.
Also, post your tbred accomplishment at Consolidated Tbred Overclocking thread in this forum section.. gotta keep that thang going.... tbred LIVES. (hehe)
