I'm surprised no one has thrown out EVGA yet. Is anyone here using an EVGA P67 mobo?

I think it is the regular Pro motherboard with taf' gimickzzzzz. Not sure about it though but I'm positive it is lower than Dlx.
You have the description on the previous page, but I'm not sure it is worth the price premium over the Pro for an average users who fold or crunch.

EVGA lost a lot of their mb dev team so they behind on their 1155 boards. They dont even have an ETA on Classified yet.

Plus no Volterra and no Sham. Classified product line lost a lot of it's appeal if you ask me with this.

yea no sham really sucks as from what I have seen he is pretty much the drive behind the classified series. Plus I think saphire stole some of their people. yes no volterra has in impact but there are other solutions.

Hey, even if I fold, I still want to best overclocking possible on my chip mate!

But about the Sabertooth, everything I read on it it's: "I think" "I suppose" "It probably", I want read numbers! I can't beleibe this board have not been reviewed abd compared to other boards in term of overclocking!

How was the X58 version of the sabertooth???

Im on a sabertooth x58 typing this and its not a great clocker. I bought it on newegg open box for 150 in the fall and its a decent 24/7 gaming rig and that is what it was meant for. I would prob get the th67xe if you are on a budget.
Im not sure about the new version but the past 2 were more like asus answ to past abit fatality series. its more geared towards gaming 24/7 rigs. Its not in the same category as rampage/maximus. I would say its more of a dumbed ROG. call it the poor mans ROG with performance closer to a pro series. I would almost say they took a pro and put some fancy heatsinks on it. thats all it is really IMO.

    tested the asus

    Asus p67 LE
    Sabertooth and M4e

LE voltage regulation sux to the max
Sabertooth is very easy to clock and was stable easy with dram at 2200mhz Cl7
But the Southbridge gets very hot and that was in open air.

M4e has a lot of redudant voltage options to my opinion for 24/7 overclocking.
so far they clock about the same. Will know next week when i put both in water. Only disappointment with Sabertooth is
    1. The Southbridge gets really hot
    2. Funny USB connection at the back that requires drivers for it to work.
but i do like the board.

looking at what asus has to offer and in terms of overclocking i would vote for
    Asus deluxe or pro version.
m4e other than the nf200 in terms of clocking no diff.
Sabertooth is overpriced when compared to the equivalent Deluxe version which offers more added extras
btw what is under the deluxe version heatsink at the middle part of the mobo
    afaik m4e is nf200
    deluxe is??

I like the m4e better, gigabyte has too many bootup failures issues and its annoying.

Little shame though i really liked the matte black but till they fix all the random cpu overclock failed when it can clearly boot before ill say go m4e asus for now.

I feel bad for EVGA. I hope this is NOT a downfall for them. I hope it doesn't happen to EVGA as it did to BFG.

I think the far better example is DFI. One year they rocked, the next year half of their engineers from development changed their employer, and the year after they were out of the game. At least when it comes to consumer products. Too bad actually, their support was retarded, but I didn't care since I send the board to whomever sold it or to the importer when I need to claim my warranty, so they rocked for me.

Very easy. And I'd just get 3x 6950.

im in a similar quest for a solid SB board. due to the fact i dont want to throw away 2x500gb EIDE drives, im looking into Asrock Fatal1ty, which has plenty of extras (6+4 sata), eide, dual lan.Has anybody tried/tested it? I dont really care for top O/c form sb, a 4500 ~low voltage is more than enough i guess right now, along with my pair of 6950s. Is there any other p67 board with eide connector i miss?

They got a 2600K to 4.6Ghz on a stock Intel cooler and thought it would go further with decent cooling.

Not a bad board for the money though I would want to loose the jacket and add a water block.

    Question P8P76 WS Revolution

Any thoughts on the P8P67 WS Revolution?

Have read a few reviews and seems to be OC'ing ok. What's people's view on XS? Anyone got one?

The answer just became any board bought before 9th January 2011.. otherwise it's probably infected with the Intel design flaw

Asrock Extreme6 or Extreme4. Fatality board in more than one review has proved its slower than the aforementioned boards (albeit, miniscule). Besides that, would you want to look at wendels mug every time you enter the UEFI?

LOL...looks like EVGA could come out smelling like roses now. Their delay likely saved them a ton of cash and they will be ready to hit the ground when the fixed chipset arrives. Funny how things work out sometimes.
