tbh, i dont think my cpu is all that great. i guess i should link to update that batch thread over at hwbot. my batch is listed as like 5.0

from what i can tell and heard psc is rebranded bdbg. they perform like psc on every platform ive tried them on.

You running a higher frequency and still losing handily just shows more about SB. We've seen epic memory bandwidth numbers (SB will easily break MaxxMem WR), so I guess this influences SPi times even more than it did previously. It looks like you need to tighten those timings! 1600 9-9-9 isn't going to cut it, my friend!

Thanks for the learning opportunity and I look forward to the SB wars. Now get out there and take your records back!

@Hondacity: Yes agree, it's not difficult, but you have more monitoring, options and tools to overclock on M4E than P8P67, that's why I've sayd it is easyer

na, this is the first chip i have had. i definitely want to try a GB board, i think one is on the way.

i can run 2133 all day on everything but 32M. here is 6-7-6 pifast @ 1090MHz with the CPU clocks maxed to what the chip can do...

but 32M freezes the instant it is started. here is the best i managed with a quick attempt. prolly another 5 tenths or so in it with copy wazza changes and sub timings, but the chip is at a wall...

i don't quote in my signature, but best WR ever...

doesnt vtt help at all mate

i found the only way to run my hypers with 2133 ratio is to have a sweetspot with VTT on both UD5 and UD7 with same volts 1.24v, 1.22v is almost there, and 1.26 doesnt like it

Hmmm... Hypers were running 2133 8-8-8 21 @ 1.68V HyperPi 32M stable with only 1.1 VTT on a UD7. I didn't think VTT had any effect on SB.

that's quite a lot vccsa if you ask me - I am having similar issues with my hypers.
0.95V vccsa - 1.15V vccsa will boot 2133 with my hyper but freezes on 32m instantly. does your setup gives instant freezes on 32m initial below let's say 1.15V vccsa?

PS: stop calling it vtt - you confuse me every time

    VCCIO should be qpi/vtt/IMC voltage...

    VCCSA is system agent

or maybe i'm wrong (still don't touched the biatch )

Good to hear that Gigabyte still call it QPI/VTT

interesting about that with the hypers. was able to play with it today for the first time and made no adjustments on the MIVE voltage wise and they were happy as could be at 2133 7-7-6-20 @1.69v....:/

hahahahaha, looks like every chip is different, without putting system agent on 0.975 I cannot boot at 2133 CL8 at all. Also to be stable VTT has to be around 1.18-1.20 on my UD7.

    To all.

How about not only posting spi32m runs at max clock but also posting spi32m times @ 5ghz for comparison?

Thank you and have a nice day
