AMTECH Review - ASUS GeForce GTX 580 DirectCU II

Box of DirectCU II GTX 580

    The back of the box

    Accessories

Looking directly ASUS GeForce GTX 580 DirectCU II

DirectCU II GTX 580 look from behind

DirectCU II GTX 580 look sideways

IO ports of the GTX 580 DirectCU II

ASUS GeForce GTX 580 DirectCU II need two 8-pin power supply

Comparing the thickness of the GeForce GTX 580 DirectCU II and ASUS GTX 580

Comparing the height of the GeForce GTX 580 DirectCU II and ASUS GTX 580

Can see the GTX 580 is higher DirectCU II ASUS GTX 580

Default clock of ASUS GeForce GTX 580 DirectCU II is 782/1002 (default clock is exactly the same as ASUS GTX 580), with a cooling system DirectCU II, I can overclock maximum core / mem to 970/1200 and run 3DMark 11 Performance.

ASUS GeForce GTX 580 DirectCU II's fans is very quiet even adjust the fan speed to 100%.

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

Man the only thing that sucks is if someone intends on watercooling that beast they are going to have to cut off the vent slot just to free up a lane for sli or another card

Methinks that card needs to lose some weight Triple slot is just too much real estate IMO, nomatter how good the card is.
