right now i would be recomending a 560 because of that price difference and similarity in perf.
overclocking a 560 seems to be better (until you can unlock a 6950 1GB to 6970 if ever possible)
noise was as expected since you compared an exhaust only cooler to one that dumps heat in the case. ive never been really happy with amd stock cooling
temps are bad because of the lackluster AMD cooling
and power consumption is related to temps and i think we can see them come closer with aftermarket cooling

but i wonder if the price set by AMD was to just milk the market a little, and we can expect a >20$ drop in a few weeks now that we have reviews of both cards. AMD generally likes to be the perf/price winner because nvidia is all about the features, but right now its a very well rounded card.

my favorite has to be the asus 250$ direct CU, but i would have to see more photos first to see if i can fit in my case.
