On my new win7x64 install both my esata harddrives were working, after I downloaded the latest intel chipsets only one was working. I tried many different versions of the jmicron driver but couldn't get it to work. I bought this particular enclosure right when esata came out so in the trash it goes. But esata users may want to just stick with the chipset drivers on the Win7 CD.

Realtek HD Audio driver R2.56 has been released. Download:
Windows Vista/7
Windows 2000/XP/2K3
This driver version is 6.0.1.6278 in Device Manager.
Changelog:
1. Customizations.
Huh, it seems that abit did not include a Realtek PXE boot OROM in their 18 beta BIOS. I'll see if I can add the latest one from Realtek's site. I'll also test Intel AHCI ROM 8.6 once I track down a copy of it, I never tested it.
If the latest Realtek PXE ROM works fine in 18 BIOS, I'll update 14, 16, and 17 too.
Okay, so here's a new BIOS compilation, this one with updated Realtek PXE Option ROMs and spanning most available BIOS revisions.

See http://www.lejabeach.com/ABIT/IP35Pro/ for details of the ZZZ & XXX mods.
NOTE: I was unable to update BIOS "12" for some reason. My apologies if you require this specific BIOS. I also did not attempt to update any of the beta BIOS versions available on the aforementioned lejabeach site for rather obvious reasons (except 18 and its variants, obviously).

I highly suggest you do not use any BIOS older than 14, but I've included them for posterity. Only BIOS 18ZZZ has been personally tested by myself, but the worst thing that can happen when using an older version would be a conflict between a specific device's option ROM and the BIOS, in which case you simply flash back to the stock BIOS and report back here and I'll try to help you fix it.
Here is an example of the Realtek PXE ROM's configuration screen which is accessible after pressing Shift+F10 when prompted:
If you do not require the PXE ROM to display its "press Shift+F10 to configure..." message twice (remember, this board has two GBe LAN ports!) on startup after the Intel AHCI OROM's initialization message, please go to the CMOS setup screen, then Integrated Peripherals, then Onboard PCI Device, and set - Invoke Boot Agent to Disabled for both Network Controller 1 and Network Controller 2.
If for some reason you require one of the beta BIOSes which are available from the lejabeach website updated, please send me a PM.

Here's a list of the latest drivers (it seems that the first post doesn't get updated anymore):
- Intel Chipset 9.2.0.1021
- Intel Rapid Storage Technology 10.1.0.1008
- Intel RST 10.1.0.1008 drivers for F6 install - 64 bit
- Intel RST 10.1.0.1008 drivers for F6 install - 32 bit
- JMicron JMB363 Storage Controller
- Realtek 8110SC PCI Gigabit Ethernet Controller
- Realtek High Audio Definition R2.56 for 2000 / XP / XP 64bit / 2003 / 2003 64bit
- Realtek High Audio Definition R2.56 for Vista 32bit / Vista 64bit / Win7 32bit / Win7 64bit
- abit µGuru 3.109
abit IP35 Pro motherboard & µGuru manual
Intel AHCI OROM 8.6.0.1007 also threw a "PNP/PCI compliant BIOS not found!" error. It seems that older AWARD-type BIOS do not like the Intel OROMs greater than 64kb in size. So, the only updates in the future would be Realtek or JMicron OROMs. But I'm glad I was able to help out a number of people by updating these OROMs!
EDIT: Updated BIOS compilation 2 posts up with even more BIOSes!

Hi everyone, need help with this mobo because:
I buy an IP35 PRO on last week for made a 2nd rig
However, when is powering up the board it is stalling at the 9.0 post and he can't access the bios. i did, clearing the cmos etc and i tried using different components of the following :
cpu = E8400
ram = corsair CM2X1024-8500C5D and mushkin HP2-8500. i tried one ram of either at a time.
gfx = normal pci and sapphire hd5570
psu = enermax liberty 620W
The post process goes through = 0.1 to 8.2 to 8.3 to 9.0 very rapidly. After about 5 secs - the motherboard restarts automatically with the code 9.9 and then goes to 9.0 again. But lately stops at code 9.0 and the cpu blower goes at full speed..
Does anyone have an idea what the problem could be ?
I dont know it has the latest bios.
thanks in advance.

According to the manual, "9.0." states:
Probably your CPU is too new (it is 45nm) and your BIOS is old (probably original version 10 BIOS), or you have a bad flash on the BIOS chip. Code 9.9. is "complete power off sequence".Complete μGuru initial process
AWARDBIOS take over booting job
If you can find a friend with an older 65nm architecture processor, drop in that chip and flash BIOS to latest 18ZZZ I posted a few posts above and hopefully you will have no issues running your E8400.

BIOS 18 is an official BIOS released by abit, it is simply a beta version. However I have been running 18ZZZ (see here for details about "ZZZ") without issues for several years now.
If you don't want any modifications and just stock BIOS with latest option ROMs, just flash BIOS 18 that's in my BIOS compilation (folder "18") a few posts above.
I don't know if this can help but this is the code 9.0 explanation.
Code 9.0 Description: Complete µGuru initial process AWARD BIOS take over booting job.
Code 9.0 Symptom:
_1. Power on -> Stop at 9.0.
_2. 0.0.-> 8.3. -> 9.0.
Code 9.0 Cause: Award BIOS initial stop processing
_1. OC too high
_2. BIOS dead
Code 9.0 Action:
_1. Clear CMOS
_2. Restore default setting for BIOS
_3. Replace BIOS chip
_4. Send to RMA at last
Let us know if you manage to sort it out.

This thread is a GD life saver. Able to take a three year old obsolete unsupported motherboard into giving full performance with a sandforce SSD. Thanks for the updated driver info and taking the time to update and share the Bios with latest SB drivers.
Ligushka, you rock. Thanks for the BIOS updates.![]()
I've been trying to find a reason to upgrade to SB, but I just can't. My IP-35 Pro is still rock solid!

Read this post and download the archive via the big "Download" link. Inside the archive is a folder called "18". Flash your BIOS using the files contained in that folder.
