Hi, I have my 2500K stable at 4,8Ghz, he made it thru 4,9Ghz but I needed to give him more cpu voltage, wich I'm not confortable with...

The problem is, that after all tests he's stable, but when I turn it on the next day, the mobo doesn't turn on, it just reboots 2x times and the EFI gets the cpu in stock mode.

Does this happen to anyone? Or is it just me?

    Thanks

EDIT: Sorry, didn't saw this thread

Anyway is it true that 1,35v is the maximum safe voltage for the Sandy cpu's?

It handles 4,8Ghz with prime at 1.35v... Trying to get to 5ghz, i've reached 1.50v(crazy voltage), just to see if it booted... It turns on, but doesn't load Windows...

1,35v for 4,8Ghz I shouldn't be needing that much voltage to 5Ghz, I mean, is it normal to give 1.5v to get 5ghz? In my case?

Got the new EFI 1053 i think, it's worse than the older one :/ Now I need 1.355v for 4.8ghz stable :/

I have to raise vcore on my CPU to 1.44v if i want to get it to 4.8Ghz.

    That is just unfair.

Did you install all the drivers that are on the cd that came with the board? There are quite a few.

As someone said, make sure you install the drivers on the CD. I think one has the word management in it and that fixed an unknown device in the device manager for me.
