The one for the UD5 freezes up shortly after post if you try to use ahci.

You sure? That was the problem with F6b. Enable either raid or ahci and it would freeze up. I am running raid and I am not having that problem with this new beta.

Running Bios F6c now. No issues so far.

Latest Easytune6 won't clock bclk though. Not sure if its my tweaked xp os or what.

Yea it runs fine in IDE mode, but when I tried ahci mode at a couple different clocks and they all froze shortly after post. Also my bclk didnt change either still only goes to mid 104s, this is with F6d.

Sounds like a bios issue, Is this only with the f6d ?

What version have you ever seen be able to change Bclk? If you have one please upload, all the ones I've tried don't even show a Bclk section/

The ET6 that came on the cd is able to adjust bclk and the version im using now (B10.1228) is also able, its listed under Frequency.

All Easytune's should be able to adjust blck, I think its more bios related..

Windows Welcome/loading screen also takes forever on the new BIOSes? This shouldn't happen because the BIOS has already handed off the board to the OS, but it does because I went back and tested an old BIOS to be sure.

Yep, thats exactly what mine looks like on my tweaked xp os. Works fine in full OSes though.

Thanks, must be a windows update or NET Framework needed then, this is a clean install but one I used for my C300 review, it's not tweaked or stripped, but no updates installed so I think that might be it.

I had installed .NET Framework 4 and SP1(this pic is Win7 X64).
Yeah,BIOS loading in Windows is too slow,but latest F7e it's also much quicker to BSOD on an unstable overclock.

Well I installed the first four 3.5.x .Net updates and if I hover I can see it now, and move/adjust but it doesn't apply.

So you think I need SP1? I am not offered .Net 4 in windows updates? I haven't installed all the other security updates yet though, or reliability, so maybe it needs those reliability ones?

I think the BIOS loads fine, it's just after that, it's causing the actual Windows Welcome screen to sit there for a long time. I only see this on the latest F7e, the one I used before that it doesn't happen with (F7d)

you have to change OS......edit that looks like W7 lol wtf, i am using that version of software without issues /..... odd

profiles dont work at the moment and are not really needed with SB, you can basically max out the chip at whatever clock you want for all benchmarks lol

Trying to install SP1 now to see if that will fix it, if not I'm gonna try the latest .Net if it will install (Not offered in windows updates, only 3.5.x)

on my ud4---

i set 100*48 and 1.410v(bios) 1.380v real...

after 5 minutes of prime95... i see my multiplier down to 36x

on bios all downclock downvolt function are disabled...

Installed .Net 4 and still no luck! I know SP1 is not required for easytune, I'm lost.

I guess I'll try a clean install, which this basically is anyway, if that fails.... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
