I would also make a backup from the BOINC folder just to be sure you won't lose any of the wu's if you have to switch back to an older version.

Thanks, I messed this up before when moving form that which is on WCG to 64 bit so I thought it was more involved.

No, the software posted is only the boinc wrapper, the WCG project software and task that WCG issues to be controlled by the wrapper are still the same.
