I just thought about it when you asked about the SP - that's exactly it I'll try it with new installs of several xp tonight. Just hate that memspeed issue - my elpidas with that sandy are fail when going cold...PSC chips and others seem to run much better need to get some new sticks asap...

    Don't say that hiwa

He need some motivation to continue great 32M battle

I think next run with 5590MHz + new os + cw (special edition ) goes straight to sub 6min

    Exactly

It was a long way to that 1m but I finally got it. And if you know that this is my 3D Windows with GPU drivers (as you can see in the pifast screenshot) there is more to come this night

Here is a time matching stummerwinter with 9-9-9-24

Then I thought "OK just a bit RAM-optimizing and he'll eats dust"

But...re-running a zillion times didn't gave me that needed bump

I was running 2 cores at this point because I was able to boot 5595 for the first time with it (and could run a pifast which crashed during screenshot )

    SandyBridge 5595 MHZ validation

Then I tried "SoF's special 3-core tweak" 1ms gained and beaten stummerwinter

That also worked out nicely with pifast - as you can see GPU drivers installed

Hiwa next beer when we see each other (what about cebit, any plans yet?) goes on you

Taking a little break now (1 or 2 hours), then new windows, no gpu drivers and slapping around some french guy in 1m (hopefully)

I'll be at Cebit too this year again, and I think pt1t also

I'm back at home, with 4Gb PSC kit, let's see what I can do with...

I am learning, I am learning

Just got a suitable 32m but there are ~10s left to optimize

btw: hicookie showed 6.640s on hwbot also - now this is a quad-battle

Someone do a max pcm05, preferably with an SSD - curious about the max cpu clock you can get.

I am interested in that fact, too

This week we will join this battle... 2600K is on his way and Chiller is ready for use...

If SB can do 5400-5500 in pcmark, it may be a contender for the 4x pcm05 WR.

edit - yes! I also am planning chilled water - 2xCoolitBoreas in series

I'm guessing 5400mhz with your CPU SoF?

I am so fail @gaymark05 I acutally never tried it I don't like that bench and I am failing enough on getting ram 2100+ (can run it but much lower eff compared to 1866 good timings) so for the moment don't expect me running it

    2500K vs 2600K,does that 2MB L3 cache count?S-pi 1M and 32M related,2001 etc?i mean not huge diffences,just 0.030,0.015 in 1M,2-3sec in 32M?Or not at all ?

That extra L3 Cache is for sure going to boost 32M a bit Not sure about the rest though.

So #2 4xcore global on the bot at 52x -

    http://hwbot.org/community/submissio...0k_34506_marks

I have a new 2600 that is pcm05 stable at 53x - will try again with this chip!

What is the best possible result in 32M for 5GHz?
We are not the best tweaker, so I am interested in the PP.
I think something arround 6min45-50s is possible... right?
Is there a very well tweaked 5GHz screen out there?

    Thanks

fastest time on bot is 6m57s but it was vista or 7

if you run it on XP and no tweaks its going to be 6m39 , just ran a quick one for kicks

    with no tweaks 6m39?
    Thats under 2Mio PP...

When I see Boris 32M, maybe well tweaked, he had a 2,017Mio PP... thats a calculated 6m43 time at 5GHz. So I think 6m39 is very difficult, especially without tweaks.

But when you think 6m39 is possible, I will try it

I want to start a 5GHz lowclock challange in my home-forum and I just need a very well tweaked run as reference, to prevent and detect downclocking after SPI finished

    Impossible.....

    ...even for the 32M Aussies

It is his score @hwbot with 5.2Ghz

From my opinion Dinos and Pro both one of the best 32M tweaker's and their score's all with really good pp and well tweaked (most even untouchable).
