I have my 720 BE I plan to get setup soon I can compare with. In the mean time, a good friend of mine is scoring 3.3 I believe with his 720 BE at 3.6Ghz. You should try to bump your NB speed more you should see good gains if you can get it around 2800-3000Mhz.

Played abit today, max i reached is 2900MHz for the IMC stil sub 3 but i'm on xp 32bit. I'm interested in your 720 BE resullts and what difference the L3 makes.

Update: 3.02 played with HT and NB speeds, has (if) ony a small impact 3.01 at 2.4GHz.

With 2.4GHz i can go an tad higher with the cpu to get also 3.02

Be nice, mmmkay ? It took about 10 min to open the CPUz windows alone. Software startup errors out the wazoo just to get more than 4 windows open...

Air cooled. Cheap-o ASUS OEM HSF only meant for 89W CPU XD

Probably not correct. It's a 117W (or so) B1 stepping Barcelona Opty :p 2GHz and with all the glory of the TLB bug (TLB patch disabled for this run )


EDIT: Specs state 1.2V and 95W TDP, 75W ACP.

No not at all,... but for the score charts I didn't think it would be fair to mix multi-socket setups with desktops.

PM me the links (in this thread) if you find any other AMD multi-socket systems.

I added a new score chart just for multi-sockets.

To get anything more out of this thing I'd have to start raising voltages and I just don't want to go there, system is mainly used to program so I need stability over speed.
...Sure I could raise everything, open the windows so its below zero in the room, etc, just to post a score.

I'm just the score keeper.

Even at 2.4 it needed a lil extra to be 100% stable, someone here said you need ram to match, I'm not into tweaking like I was years ago, now I just set it and forget it.

Well, if it merges the three charts, I'm a little bit against it... since it does detract from it. Maybe if there was a master chart after the three seperate ones.... (asking for a bit of work from you).

Now that I've got a handle on this new 1090 I had really hoped to join the 8.x club.

Maybe if I'd gotten it to play nice with the Corsair hypers, the tighter timings would have put me there, but it was not to be....

Oh Well, this should move me up the chart a few spaces.

How many better SS's you got there so I know how high I need to go.

I still need a pump to use outside air, it's ~70F ambient inside and the sensor off the radiator hit 73.5, so I'm defiently pushing it...

This is a fun benchy, you know if I run it enough times, I might get 7.93 and I'll be sure to post it!

easy, get a custom water set up!!! i think it helps more on these 100% load benches


dave, my run was also normal 70f+ ambients.. still have never been able to get these x6's outside in the cold midwest winters
