thanks lab501, gonna check em both now

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

I highly doubt that. They had the i7 920's on release date for around $230-250 for a year then dropped down to what they have it now.

Usually not, they sold 920's for a long time at $199 when they were ~$269 at sites like Newegg. Same with 875K's and most other CPUs.

I expect them to do the same with these.

you think you'll have to line up? I have a MC nearby and want to get one, but I'm not sure if you really need to get there super early to purchase one or if they are stocked up enough to meet everyone's request.

Just go early in the morning, If you really are eager to get your hands on new hardware nothing will get in your way

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

I already made plans to get microcenter when it opens. Just because I need time to build my machine that day, so hope there isn't a line! If someone takes my 2600k, I'm going to take a bite out of them.

I bought i7920 for $200 march of 2009 which was like $100 off, micro center has lower price cpu to bring you into the store, in hopes you also buy motherboard/ram/gpu....
