We (here in Hellas) have "fixed" the Pi-fast V.4.3 (newer one) so as to be easy benchable
Just "click" on "thelab_pifast.bat" file ......

(like change values in a .bat file)

Isnt this1 faster than the other 1??? If so then thats kinda bad as its a smaller differance...
But on my school comp i got 209.79P3 933Mhz - 128 MB ram ;o)

what a difference in times from hexus pifast vs thelab pifast
2.8C @ 200fsb
AI7
2x 256MB KHX3200K2/512 @ 200mhz 2-2--26
NB Strap 800fsb
GAT = F1-A-A-D-D
hexus pifast = ~68s
thelab pifast = 46.16s!

It's because those Prescotts REALY don't like Pi-fast bench............I've seen it too.....Don't know why though.......Originally posted by chrisbmw150

Hexus pi-fast is based on pi-fast V.4.1 (old one) and thelab's is based on the newer one(2003) pi-fast V.4.3 with some bugs fixed and I think that it can handle or recognise the newer instructions of nowdays CPU's like SSE2 for example......Originally posted by eva2000

Yup, they sure are. Especially when compared to Northwoods and Prescotts clock for clock. I'm about to sell mine though, hoping to pick up a 3.4EE with better oc potential than this particular chip. I see from your results that the new stepping should be really good. I was lucky enough to pick up one of the last Mach II GT's (if not THE last one here in Denmark), so cooling it shouldn't be a huge problemOriginally posted by hipro5

I did run the test @ 4115 Mhz (257 Mhz fsb), mem @ 5:4 but it was slower (32.45 vs. 32.23 @ 4 Ghz, mem @ 250 Mhz).
All of the EE aren't good overclockers.........I think it's because a. they have over 3 times the tranzistors than a normal one and b. that the L3 must work at 1:1 with the core even with higher latency than the L2...............Originally posted by LarsK
