Questions about 60000 PPD build 2x arima

Help I'm getting lost in the thread's, now there talking about Wu errors!

One case 8 water-blocks old TC4 bottoms I'll make my own tops
One aquaextreme z50
two arima F-3000 boards
One populated with the 8347 he from the givaway (although At first one is going in the other board)
and well One HD
one either x550 or HD 4550 or x800 and
well the other one will have a usb flash or an mini 2gb ssd for booting

Here are my questions:
#1 when I make the WB can I forget the top heat-sink holders and just use two screws, since I'm making my tops myself could I use just screws and the backplates?
#2 What sort of power supply can I use since I'm using 2 boards, can I use 4 rails 2 12V rails on some are 20A and then 2 more are like 25A I mean 2x 20A *12= 440W the 8347 he are rated 55W so the draw total should be less than 300 right for that board, the other board will use more because I might be using the 8354's or the 8360's
#3 how are the temps watercooling one quad CPU Arima, I know some peeps here have done so, and with what cpu's, how many rads and what will I have to do to make this work for 8 cpu's and how sensitive are these things to heat?

Edit add question #4 What are those empty things we have in the second power connector, can anyone here elaborate on that?,
also #5 server power supplies with those wierd connections in the back , are cheap at times, what do I need to make those work (think I need a 5V board for the HD's anyone know about those?

wow where to start.. first off don't panic. retro might have some errors but my boards are running ok so it's prolly an isolated incident he'll get sorted out.

#1) I think you can just use the screws and the backplates.

#2) I'm not sure what to say here. I think with a strong enough psu you can run two boards with one psu but it will be expensive, albeit more elegant.

#3) Again, i don't know about watercooling but my 8347s he's run full load under 40C with a mid range air cooler (TX3 i believe). Guys like sparky will have more info about wc'ing.

Ty for the answers, got one question right there, what video card are you using
hmmm 318W what lappy HD how much memory (how many sticks) those are info I can plug into the power supply calculator
As for more expensive planning on shooting the psu off eBay (sniping) and quad rail ones tend to be cheaper than single rails, I assume that both connectors on the board power 2 cpu's each then 20A should be enough for the 8347 he board.

id get a very good psu abt 1000w should work well. that should be a good 80% for efficency

for the rad, id go with a BIX 480 4x120mm rad, or anyother comperable one. ive got a 360 running 18 cores now with only 2 fans on it with no problems.

what 18 cores and what temps what's the wattage of your cpu's in total?

I'm using a 550 PSU for one. I tried a 430 and it wouldn't post with four CPUs. It would run just fine with three CPUs. This leads me to believe that you are going to be running a large power supply very hard. I wouldn't try to bundle them together. Seems like the risk of a power supply failure, an expensive one at that, is greater than the cost of two lower rated power supplies.

As far as whats needed to mount those blocks? I'd Google up some directions on them from the manufacturer or maybe post under the Xtreme Systems section that deals in this sort of thing. We don't always have all the answers in this small subsection of the greater Xtreme Systems forum.

It might be easier to get the system up and running in a more simpler fashion. I just followed the directions that others had laid out for us and I got up and running in no time.

I wanted to ask again about how sensitive the barcelona's are to heat, because as soon as I get a few more things in the mail I'll be ready to start the build, And I was wondering if I can get away with one bonnie rad?
so if anyone has an answer to that question I could really use an answer.
