GTX 580 isn't going to die, nvidia will drop the price without a doubt in a day or two if the 6970 is at $360 or $370. It'll be like the HD4800 vs GTX260/GTX280 scenario all over again pricing reaction from nvidia.
look how big their die is and how low can they lower it to still be profitable is the question ... anyway .. if those pricing are real i can see lots of 6900 crossfire setups
