    LGA1155 Motherboards already selling in Taiwan info

    It has been reported here in Japan that LGA1155 Motherboards already selling in Taiwan. GIGABYTE today has been started to sell branded models.... Link to report with picture of boards in the shop.

    I pretty sure gigabyte did not say ok to this as NDA is still on. Maybe someone took boxes out of the trash can and then put in 1156 boards or nothing at all.

    look at the picture, thats a warehouse, not a shop...
    so yes, 1155 boards are now being fed to the retail market to prepare stocks for the launch in early january... does that surprise anybody? :P
    im having lunch at taipei main station right now, and i just had a look at pc nova before i came here, and nada...
    how much do you guys wanna bet theres nothing at the guangwha pc market either?

    im quite confused. can someone please explain the difference to me between socket 1155 and socket 1156? to me its just 1 less pin to force you to buy a whole new motherboard for your cpu >_>

    Its a whole different cpu, the pin difference I think is very confusing, but the different logos should clear it up for people, this logo on this cpu for this motherboard with the same logo. Anyways, its a whole different platform, but is very similar to is predecessor, it has been a fe years since intel released a new platform.

    Hi saaya, the report say`s that the shop Taiwan Panorama Business PC parts 台湾・光華商場にあるとあるPC was selling them, that is the picture at that place.
    It also mention Taiwan's cyber city Guangwha area 光華商場
