    Got a new toy: 3.2C SL6WG 30 capper

my 2.8 is a great clocker but i want something stable at arround 4.4ghz...with a bit (or loads) of luck i may be able to do that with this new cpu i got today from a computer fare...

    i had a look at the box...he had 2x 3.2 one sl6we and this sl6wg

these pack dates are right? 03/06/04? thats 3 days ago err??

i will try it with my mach 2 GT later today

gotta go out now cos the missus is complaining i spend more time with my pc than with her :smileysex

he had 2 prescotts too...but they werent looking any good...old steppings...

i found a D0 lately from germany which i didnt get though since the boards cant cope with their load from what i have heard....

can't wait to see what it does on a gt.
as far as the pack date, intel uses our american system of month/day/year so it was march 6 2004

haha, give 'er some voltage then

not a bad screenie then, i was looking for a good clocker, got a prescott the other week, had ordered from dabs about 3 months ago and forgotten about it :p TIs crap, think i'm selling all my p4 stuff now, could get a decent northy but times coming close for 939, 775 so get teh cash now rather than spend more for me.

Plus i'm always too tired to play with comps lately.

WHat board/mem setup you on at the moment?

Nice, SL6WG in my rig too, your pack date is a week newer. Mine will get stable at 4.4GHz, but takes around 1.8V to get there. This AEP core seems to handle the volts just fine though.
.........current project, make the 135i faster

yea i put 2.0vcore through my 3.0c AEP and it loved it for weeks.

and what i love is that it just keeps on climbing and climbing with more vcore ...it deminishes, but keeps inching higher but at 2v im scared to go much higher

WTG on the good overclock, I hope I am as lucky when I get my 3.x Northie in the next week or 2. It all seems like just a big crapshoot as to if you get a good OC'er or not...

*edit* didn't see p0rl1n's reply on the date solution. Doh!

    ehhe

figured the date thingy when i got back home...i was comparing it with the date from my new wristwatch so i got confused...

i am still in the look for a wonder chip

my 2.8 runs happily prime stable at 4.1+ ghz @ 1.76Vcore but i would really like something in the region of 4.3-4.4ghz prime stable

i guess i am asking too much
