note: windowed vs fullscreen: quite diff results - windowed = higher fps/scores
just pure insane tess @ 1080p

Napalm, TY for the Stalker test! I think I need to sell off my 465 GTX and a kidney (got two right?) and get a 580 or 2!!!
Here is a link for Metro 2033 demo :

Can you run it at max settings (4xAA or higher) if you have time? Single and SLI would be nice.
Thank you again!
Here is my 1.050V card.
PCI-E extender - Noctua Cooler - AMD bracket -silent fan =cool and quiet all the time
Game stable (24/7): 1.24V (3D load) 925/1100/1850
Benchmarks: 1.28v (3D load) 970/1100/1940
This card is not good.
Need to find better samples and then it is time for some more serious stuff.

You are as good as your samples are!
It is black broOnly the slot extender is green
I'm... not comfortable in contradicting Peter by saying this, but I think 100 ohm trimmer is too big.
I hooked one up, and by the time I got to 1.10v (3D) there was 19.2 ohm left. If someone wanted 1.15v and got impatient, they're risking a short circuit
I now have two 100 ohm trimmers in parallel. Extra turns and a faster response as dual safety nets.
AMD bracket is applicable to GTX 580?![]()
1.274v and only 61c max... cpu cooler @ gpu FTW![]()

Friend: Do you have a spare PSU lying around?
Me: No why?
Friend: My PSU just blew up, I think the second 8800GTX might have been too much for it to handle
Me: what PSU was that again?
Friend: Antec 480w

I got a 1.002v GTX580 and can't make it stable at only 925MHz with 1.12v. It's still aircooled, waiting on the waterblock, that's probably why it crashes the driver after a while playing. I don't wanna test with more volts before i watercool it.

He's showing that with 1.2 volts, vregs measured temps are 107.2C! Would probably be much less with a full water block. Slipknot, you should strap some fans to that sucker!
