Fako? Cause 450$ for 6970 is too much... 399$ and 299$... but still not fit...

I'd pay $450... That is with the GTX 580 is selling for and it does not even have 2GB of memory which ends up being a major sticking point for me. You have to realize this is the cost of inflation as well... I might wait for Asus to make an ares version of the 6990 and get that later. $450 also suggests to me that ATI believes it's that good of a card. I'm more concerned that the 6990 might stick to the 300watt pcie power rule. So it looks like I'll get 2 6970s.

You are lucky, here a GTX580 sell for 600+ dollars, and they are still not in stock ( not a single card in the biggers shops of switzerland, maybe a few have been delivered.... )...

I would be very happy if Antilles is 30% faster than my HD 5970, probably not to easy to achieve on reference card because of the PCI-e spec. Anyway 30% plus the extra 2GB GDDR5 and at least 2x better tessellation would be nice upgrade.

Naa real problem is we are surely allways the last country to get the hardware after been released, it look like they serve first UK, germany, and France... there's a real monopole from a shop who have buy all the other little shop here, addition to this if they want clear their 480 stock... 580 avaibility here is close to zero. same thing in Netherlands and Belgium, no cards to find and if one enters its few of a certain brand, then wait, then another brand.... expected delivery etc
