Thank you Napalm! I actually ended up at 910 core but these cards do not have a drop more in them even at 1.138. Pretty wild stuff

I got my replacement gtx 580. I'm having an issue though, it seems when I'm pushing the card past 930-9xx+ I get a frame hit. Why would I have lower frames? I'm not artifacting at all either.

So far the card is solid at stock clocks. It hasn't crashed at all in gaming (crosses fingers)
I've done max fan, and my temps are good. The highest voltage I can go is 1.138v and that's what I have it set to for benching. It runs 960mhz on the core with no artifacting or stuttering of any kind, but the mem was still set to stock. My vid unfortunately is worse (1.050v). I'm still thinking of just doing a full return because I'll be honest I was really bummed out when I saw the vid.

but you said all this vid thingy is just a myth
why be bummed out its not a bad vid its doing 960 thats good
just increase vgpu a bit more (set to 1.150 an itll drop to 1.149 after apply) via afterburner to get mem higher and your good![]()
Yeah i know its a myth. Just remember though i think we would all be as cheery as you if we had a chip as good as yours. Still though I can't complain, I'm very fortunate to even own such a card.
How do you unlock higher volts? I would like to give 1.150v a shot with 100% fan speed, still at 85% over here.

What do you guys think. Would a oc'd Q6600 be able to keep this card going?
