@Linuxfan how did you score that Rampage Extreme x48?!!!
You are holding a piece of 775 history.. its by far one of the best motherboards ever made.
dont kill it please. when you are done with your session unplug everything and take the container off and let it air out. maybe put grease in the socket and dimms just to be safe. take every precaution and treat it with dignity and respect. its worth more than its weight in gold.
its without question the best 775 board you can have!

my ln2 1st stage run ended prematurely due to condensation. the board should be good but I just need to air it out.

all of you in the nov contest on pcmV. There is some brazilian dude in 1st in the 2 core challenge with around 16k.

    http://hwbot.org/community/submissio...5k_16390_marks

I was up to 5. ghz on the max3F on 660 and lsi 9260 x 3x 50gb v2 and a 5770 and was getting around 9k. then I found out he had every suite checked. not just the 1st one like weve all been doing. he checked every bench in pcV. maybe this is the secret? Im gonna do a test. Im gonna run the 1st ste on my 4 core rig and then run everything and compare scores. a 20 min bench compared to a 60 min bench. lets see if its worth 60 min of ln2 at once. brb

Nice work Daniel, did you see you made News at HWBot yet? Congrats!

Our member mk-ultra has tested a GTX 580 on water and made a nice single card score!

Here's an overview over today's scores:

Yotomeczek found a nice Sempron 145 and attacks the single core Wprime category.
Linuxfan is pushing his W3570 for the Gigabyte Core Prime contest.

steve, thanks buddy. I am having a hard time getting 145 A. past 320 htt. its a pain. it seems as soon as I get her ready the dimms ice up and I need to end the bench session. so while I was waiting for the hairdryer I plugged the raid card into my sabertooth to see what that same raid set would do on x16/x8 on x58 but at 4 ghz I was only hitting 9k. I think I ran into the same problem you had with the raid card not working in this bench like you would expect. So it made me wonder. Maybe the card was also crap on the 890 chipset. To make a long story short, I took off the raid card and set up a raid 0 set with 3x vertex2 on the 890 onboard and im gonna bench again. lets see what happens. everyone else that submitted recently. congrats. I feel like were are weeding through the crap and getting serious again. lets keep ripping!

yeah. when I search his name "I2I3" a ton come up under 3d but when I search FM with his name under pcmark regardless of custom or default I get nothing. I get around 9k on 2 core at 4ghz with the lsi and 3x vertex2 in raid 0. I thought the url was mandatory? some of the submissions when I confronted them they said they didnt have internet connection at the time they did the benches and saved the pcm file. but you would think they would save it on a key and submit on a different rig when they had the time like everyone else does. but days later there is no url. so yeah dudes in question. It makes you look kinda sketchy.

If everyone posts their raid rig it might be a good thing. also why is there no pcmark vantage category when I select 2d? I only see pcmark05 category on the bot. why no pcvant category but we have a pcmark vantage contest? How can I see all the pcV submissions without going through FM rats nest? anyone?

***********ooops duh I see it on the far left category. it doesnt come up when you search a specific processor. You need to scroll down and select it by its own benchmark. I got it.

PAUL CHECK YOUR PM. i HAVE A QUESTION ONLY YOU WOULD KNOW.

    Thanks for posting your score!

Unfortunately, Ocool reported it because the memory tab was missing so I deleted it. Just to let you know what happened to your submission.

I'm looking forward to seeing your top secret benching setup!

Good job with PCM Vantage everyone
Made some easy hardware points with a 4870 today. I'll have to re-bench all the old GeForces 9x00 and Radeons 4xx0 when we find a good CPU...

Rivatuner is pretty straight-forward in my opinion, all you need is System settings under Driver settings on the main tab. In case you need more clock speed than Rivatuner will give you with standard settings go to the Power user tab, Rivatuner\Overclocking\Global and adjust MaxClockLimit.

Either use Vantage or 3Dmark 03, in general test with the benchmarks you'll be running, don't waste your time with atitool or even Furmark.
