it is ironic that there are people on this forum who own gtx 275, gtx 295, and do volt mods. yet the people in this thread are trying to wrap their brain around a dual gf110.

hello. just because a gtx 580 uses 240 watts doesn't mean two of those chips have to use 480 watts. nvidia can choose chips that run at lower voltages. nvidia can choose board components that use less power. they've done this before. gtx 295 does not use twice the power of gtx 275.
