    Pretty incredible. Glad I just ordered one from zipzoomfly.com for $179 Look like this will be a ground breaking new motherboard!

    For those who may not have heard,
    The first motherboard supporting 802.11g AP functions

    AMD Cool 'n' Quiet! Technology

    Dual RAID
    The VIA K8T800Pro chipset incorporated two Serial ATA connectors with RAID 0(striping), RAID 1(mirroring), and JBOD(spanning) functions while the Promise 20378 controller provides another two Serial ATA and two UltraATA133 connectors for RAID 0(striping), RAID 1(mirroring), RAID 0+1, and multiple RAID functions. The motherboard is the ideal solution to enhance hard disk performance and security.


    ASUS WiFi-g (Wi-Fi@HOME)
    The ASUS WiFi-g™ card supports 54Mbps 802.11g Wireless LAN and WDS (Wireless Distribution System) and bundles the exclusive Software Access Point to save the extra cost of an stand-alone AP. In addition, the card comes with an external omni-directional antenna and one-touch user-friendly utilities that allow quick connection to notebooks, PDAs and other WLAN peripherals.


    IEEE 1394 interface
    IEEE 1394 interface provides high speed digital interface for audio / video appliances such as digital television, digital video camcorders, storage peripherals & other PC portable devices.

    AI NET (GbLAN)
    The AI Series supports Gigabit LAN by integrating the Marvell controller, equipped with a unique net-diagnosing utility- VCT (Virtual Cable Tester). The controller intelligently detects net connection status up to 100 meters from a remote location and reports the distance of bad cable.
    AI AUDIO (8-channel digital audio)

    AI Overclocking
    A unique option in BIOS that enables quick overclocking up to 30% (depends on CPU and RAM). It automatically detects and optimizes every relevant parameter to provide both performance and stability.

    The BIOS in AI Series also keeps all the special design for overclocking:
    -- Flexible CPU Core Voltage Adjustments in 0.025V increments over defaults
    -- SFS (Stepless Frequency Selection) up to 400MHz at 1MHz increanerts

    I hope that o/c option doesn't flatten out all the timings to achieve the o/c and that this board is as solid as it's feature set. Looks very promising.

    Don't use the AI Overclocking option if you get the board. The same option was on my old P4C800E-D. You'll get better results using all manual settings.

    This is the first CPU/Mobo combo in the last two years that I'm SOOO excited about that I may make it my 24/7 'puter after I do BAD things to it with DI/LN2. Onboard wireless 802.11G, hehe...

    How much extra does the onboard wiresless cost. Any news??

    I hope it's isnt more than just buying a Wireless 54mb PCI card.

    The CPU MHz can be set by overclocking from 200MHz up to 300MHz.
    OMG y0 c4n 0c t3h cpu Mhz to t3h 300Mhz!

    Not sure how much it costs, but the board supports 802.11g (WiFi-g) which is faster but more expensive than 802.11b.
