    BH5 or maybe OCZ EB?
    BH5 best up to 250-255ish

EB may be nice to 260-265...albeit at slower timings.

I have a new set of Mushkin PC3500 L2 but I might sell it for $550 to some guy on ebay that has been emailing me asking if I was going to ever sell it.

So I want to know if it’s worth selling the Mushkin PC3500 and getting some other memory.

I was looking at the GeIL Ultra Platinum PC4000 2.5-4-4-7 Rated for 2.6-3.1V

    OCZ EL DDR PC-4000 / 500mhz / Gold Edition 2.5-4-4- for Rated for 2.8V

Both the Geil and OCZ run around $300, so my questions is, do you think the Mushkin is that much better, and what you sell it and make $250 extra and go with another brand and if so what brand or PC???? I’m going to phase cool the system so it’s going to be OCed.

Can you see any real performance jump from one of those brand to Mushkin BH-5?

    Thanks

Your current Mushkin would be the ticket for that setup for a fast 24/7 rig. Unlocked multi's so you can dial in the fsb and stay with reasonable voltages. Seems to me like most people with FX's and phasechange don't go much up over 230fsb anyways except for benching and a lower fsb will give your peripherals more stabilty.
Just my opinion... Doubt you want to waste all your time trying to make it stable.

I have a idea of running the whole system at -20 to -50 C. I was playing with the idea of making a case that will have a case inside it's self that will run at lowered temps. The any thing on the Mb would set in this inside case and would be lowered to -20 to -50 C. With the right dryer set up you can set the dew point to -50 to -100 C with air the right dryer. I'm also looking at using a inert gas in the place of air so I wouldn't need a dryer. The next set and build a cascade system for the CPU and GPU to drop them to -100 C. Sounds fun.

I just put it on ebay Item number: 3485995940

I like the BH-5 but I think that extra money is my new X800XT and I can live with the OCZ Gold at 2.5-4-4-7

Have you guys seen any bench marks in 3Dmark03 that one is higher than the other just because of the memory? I was wondering if there is a diffrence what would it be going from 2-2-2-5 to 2.5-4-4-7?

There is a pretty large difference. In 3dmark01 you will see about 800 extra points with 222 timings compared to 344.

I have 4 sticks of Mushkin LevelII PC-3500 ready for action. Pre tested Dual Channel to a stable 258 on my P4C-800.

I'm also expecting some OCZ EB, we'll see which turns out better for the 939 set up.
