Thumbs up AMD aircooling validation only - get it to the max

As I said last days in another thread, I am so curisou about first 5 GHz CPU aircooling validation. This time what I know, the highest validation got Chew master and Mad222. I am curious, what AMD can do. So, u can using open window fol colder temp, and try validation at maximum only with aircoolers. Minimal room temps can be about +10 C, u can using external mega fan to help or aircondtition for lower temps in room of course :-). Validation can be "red", but I need video your PC system, or photo and fair play, no cheats - thx (u made validation with WTC system and give here some photo with aircooling)
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------Please write:
    -validation clock and screen
    -motherboard, cooler+some speciality fans
-video of your system (or photo) and info about room temps

All validation over 4700 MHz are good and more than 4800 Mhz is really impressive...

I vote no aircon below 10'c, otherwise I'll just take the thermostat out of mine and have it blow -20'c air over my heatsink.

Only decent air cooler I have now is on my main Media Center rig...I guess I could pull it for a couples hours one day. Though, my house is unusually warm due to the wife and kids...

Flank: I tried in Stephen's office today, but couldn't get the cpu temp. below 10c. The room temp was around 15c with the air condition on

very hard to win your prize, Bro! I really need to wait til X'mas time then....

I did take a video of 4.6g boot in because I just bought a new small camera & wanted to try out
I'm still very bad taking video or picture

BTW, that wasn't the fan. Stephen was sawing to make a frame or something in the other room

I already did 4950, i don't think i can do better, least not with what i would consider legit air, I will let the other guys do subzero air, if i want subzero i will just go phase

hehe, with phase will it be total different sphere

my record is still 4826 MHz (1.56V), ambients was think under20C, i tried some day 1.6V and this doesnt helped me, contrary, it was even worse think

FlanK3r, that's not necessarily true...I can run SuperPi 1M higher on air than I can on water due to the way the cooler handles loads.

    Idle on air: 33c
    Idle on water: 35c

    Load on air: 59c
    Load on water 49c.

Highest valid on air: 4494 Mhz on my 965BE. Highest I've gotten on water for even a split second: 4470. SuperPi 1M on air: 4400 Mhz - SuperPi 1M on water: 4374 Mhz

Once again its winter in Canada

I know it won't be legit air, however I thought I'd play around with some subzero air tonight.

I'm hanging my H50 out my window for low temps. It's not an aircooler yes I know, but I think I will be able to break the 5GHz barrier

it turns out i have 1 HTT wall and a HTT hole

251-260 is where the hole is and the wall is at 327

I wonder how many people have tried to clock their Thubans to 5GHz on air cooling? There may be a few Thubans out there that can do it but my week 21 wouldn't do 4.7GHz on 15C air. Good luck to everyone trying to get it done though.

I doubt I can reach 5GHz on water and cold air. 4.8 - 4.85 is doable, but maybe not more. My chip is not bad, but nothing exceptionally good. And I'm not sure validation is easier on "normal" water than on high-end air cooling. There's difference in benchmarks though, because of the heat good water cooling can handle.

This is not authentic air...somewhere in between chilled water and air cooling.
