Kenjiwing: also my 2 cents are that most of people with 480 are more or less satisfied with their performance and not exactly willing to shell out insane ammount of money to buy slightly faster cards that soon. As for those who are jumping to fermi bandwagon only now, they should have no problems in buying 580 specific full covers, as they hadn't any 480 gpus or 480 gpu full cover blocks before.
